Only way to get out of this "Lethargic" state is to never elect Non-State actors... like Congress Party and their wings. Let the Right Wing BJP take India back to what it was before the worlds decided to loot and pillage the spoils. Jai Hind!

Bharat Karnad is misjudging Pakistan. Pakistan is the successor to the Mughal and Islamic sultanates. It looks at partition as unfinished business and will never rest content till it conquers Delhi. India's response has to be to weaken and isolate Pakistan, which Modi has done well so far.

Completely disagree with pax saving Bharat.. It sounds exactly like the weak shivering thought process of gutless spineless and lazy bum neru... What would have happened if pax was never created? .. Bharat would have been led by Sardar Patel... The Hindu population would've been empowered and given a fitting reply as required culturally or militarily... So Pax should remain a beggar state and suffer for the atrocities against humanity...

the speaker focussed on China, Pakistan, US and Vietnam in that order in tha main speech But one thing which has been missed is the utter failure when we lost our (at that time )Ex Prime Minister Sri Rajiv Gandhi to the debacle in Sri Lanka - what went wrong in the thinking in the SriLankan context will we be doing the same error again - by losing SriLanka like Pakistan to the chinese also in another talk by the MP Sri Subramaniam Swami he mentions that Chinese have utter disregard for the other country who is desperate to please another or for those who do not respect their own country he also further adds a more easier and shorter route of commerce could be through Kolkatta Port and via the nepal route - had India had offered this route of commerce the CPEC would have been discarded - does the speaker agree

One thing that we Indians have to start developing is the age old yet forgotten skills of dexterity (read: crafting things with our bloody hands for a change) instead of software, software and software all the way. Because, when hunger and need strikes, those are hardware products that help you tide over the phase and not some stupid software. Our country has become the whole world's back office performing and accomplishing ridiculously low skilled back room jobs for a nickel or a dime. Our manufacturing abilities are in the pits and we are today incapable of crafting anything that is a fine product with our own hands. Instead, we pride ourselves in saying, "Oh! We use only 'imported' stuff." What must be considered shameful is a misplaced matter of pride for us idiots. China manufactures practically everything that the whole wide world uses. Albeit their quality of manufacturing might be suspect, it is still something instead of nothing. The Chinese don't sit pretty on their arse pushing keyboard buttons only. They are a toiling lot of people and hence command the economic might that they can afford to take for granted today and hold the world to ransom each time.

Absolutely correct! Cheap IT/Engg degrees only produce a large number of IT/factory Coolies. It is all part of the progression of Slavery which started because the Amerindians refused to be mind-colonised. Transatlantic slavery thrived for a while whch was the morphed into indentured labour and then to H1B Visa and willing slavery. The West is dependent on it. People in the west have almost lost the work ethic (together with desire and application to education, especially higher education, and particularly after the latest spread of mindless Globalization!

If such a people exist in RAW then why fools pakistan sending terrorists into india to dismantle.kootayudh means this create a false impression about enemy to benefit that enemy.so he is saying securepakistan both financially & defence in our interest so india should help pakistan financially to secure itself so that they dismantle india more easily Poking china (raising tibet issue) is not a strategic move Regarding tanks in against china weight is the main concern because they cannot move mountains as easily as in plains for ex a car can fastly move & manouere in ghat roads rather than a bus so lighter tanks are best option Our bikes also dont start immediately in winter times so do the tanks of us amd chineese(because mostly of them are russian or with russian technology) International alliances are for mutual benefit(either financial or strategic)like pakistan and china etc

At 13:15, you have described a very powerful bribe. It would be of interest to know a list of recipients over the last ten years. Mitrokhin's revelation in his two volumes, does not come as any surprise. On the topic of compulsory service in any of the uniformed services, Singapore has a very workable and successful model. Their Government imposes a pathway of structuring their youth, so that they continue to be self-disciplined even when the structure is removed. The Government of UAE also took up this model to prevent their youth from being 'radicalised' by influences lurking around their political perimeter. Possibly a couple of States in India (e.g. the coastal states of Andhra and Odisha, going up towards Jharkhand) should try out this model within their own educational curriculum. Results of this investment would be clear to see when these empowered and impassioned youngsters grow into positions of influence and authority within the country.

The speaker is full of horse-feathers. He accepts that he is reading some excerpts in translation. Himself does not have the knowledge and paints the Vedas as quite bloody a la the Psalms or the Koran. I do not where he derives his scholarship from. If these are the guiding lights of India, let the FORCE bless the country. He has skewed view of state rule/rulers, and quotes the half-baked Western thinking without understanding the Eastern ethos.
