Great to see another side of you outside cheer. I stumbled across your channel a few years ago, probably the algorithm found you as I’ve spent one week a year in Ogden for the last few years skiing the Cottonwoods and other mountains. I’ve stayed with friends who live just north of the campus, it’s been great to watch you and your team mates grow and succeed at the national level down there, continued success to you & yours!

I clicked on one short, then You Tube pushed more, so I clicked on more. Every time it makes me smile, because it looks like you and any of the team are so elated with every stunt. Well done and best wishes for the next semester and on to grad school. I hope your life continues to be so blessed!

Yay!! Thank you Caylee. Have been looking forward to this. You guys are so cute in your pj's. Your doggy is gorgeous! 😊 98lbs? I'm going to hope/assume that you are shorter than you appear because you are teeny! Especially considering how fit you are! And social media can definitely be a hobby if you have a lot of people that care about you and what you are doing, it takes time to record and edit and keep up with it 😊 and will you please 🙏 continue letting us know what's happening even if it's not cheer stuff.

Def was interesting to hear about cheerleading. It is not a big thing for us in Europe. Would have been nice, especially for your newer ‘followers’, to have a few general informations in the beginning. Like an introduction basically. Like where you’re from, how old you are, etc. It might sound a bit random but the lifestyle across the pond is so utterly different, it would be lovely to get a bit of an inside :) Good video.

Thanks for the video, it was really informative and I enjoyed it a lot. I’ve got few follow up questions: * Is cheering in high schools all girls or coed? At what stage does coed cheering start? * Were the cheer teams the main reason for you choosing specific colleges and university? I hadn’t thought about the Olympics but the challenges are obvious. Host cities have to build huge Olympic villages in already densely populated areas, so they won’t want more team sports. Is there a way to have smaller teams? Like rugby (23 team members including substitutes) isn’t Olympic but rugby 7s (12 team members) is. Good luck for the future, I hope you find a nice grad school.

Hey Caylee, nice one😃. Got a couple of ideas for questions if there's gonna be a Pt. 2. Like what types of exercises do you do in your gym workouts to help you be better flyer? (core stability i'm guessing?). Are you a good swimmer btw? Favorite movies / tv shows (apart from cheer stuff of course:) And Music! Travel question - ever thought of visiting Europe? for example Prague, Czech republic? or Paris, Berlin and such? How is living in Arizona? {compared to other states that you've been to?) Gonna edit if i think of more xD

No one asked how tall you were? Does team USA have a height limit for instance? Do they have an "ideal" that they stick to for team symmetry? Sharing your in season weight vs out and what you have to do to maintain it (6 hours a day in the gym) was interesting though.

I can definitely relate to long days and nights in college. I was in a hard engineering at a hard school. I only learned later that we were doing graduate level work as undergrads. Throw in ROTC classes. I somehow graduated on time. But I didn't realize at the time how much it crushed me trying to do it all in 4 years.

You should make video breakdowns of the skills in cheerleading. Names of the moves, what is hard what is easy and why, etc. Those were some of the most interesting parts of the q&a

Well I guess you don’t watch the news because woman’s rights probably don’t make the top 10. I am a 66 year old woman and I keep up with what’s going on in the world. I’ve been through years of women’s liberation endeavors. Making sure we have the right to kill a baby inside us as top priority shows a lot of naïveté and quite frankly, ignorance. I appreciate your athletic talent and have watched many shorts, but that answer sent chills. There is so much more I could say but I suspect it would fall on deaf ears. I wish you success in your endeavors and I hope you soon get a better understanding and perspective of things and where they rank as important. It is very possible that if some things aren’t taken care before others, the rest of it may not matter.

@ her answer to a question is that to her the most serious problem in the world is woman’s rights. What’s sad is in reading several comments, people didn’t have a problem with that, although they may not have seen it as its well into the interview. I wrote this months ago, even before we were faced with the terrifying notion that harris could be our next president. Whew! Dodged that disaster.

So in addition to the obvious skills and abilities you’re smart. How long do you suppose you’ll continue to fly? Most athletes have a shelf life. Wear and tear accumulates, eventually work will become a full time thing and at some point I assume your professional career will eclipse stunting. I stopped rock and ice climbing when I became a daddy. There’s social similarities between climbing and what you do. First, not a lot of people do it. Second, you can’t really do it by yourself. Third, there’s a sort of mental headspace that allows you to engage in an activity with a definite risk factor greater than that if day to day life. Speaking for myself, you lose that over time. Not really sure what my point is. Probably just to really concentrate on the person you are now so that you hardwire the memories for the days to come when you’re not that person anymore. Sorry, that got kinda gloomy 😁

It is good to see a dog owner who does not force your dog to obey. I respect you for that. The problem then is how much does your dog respect you? Aka talk to a dog whisperer, because a dog who does not obey you does not believe you are smarter OR the master, and that will end up POSSIBLY causing a very VERY bad situation that will , POSSIBLY, end up with the dog um. . . ending up . . . . well I won't say it but I think you know what I am trying to say. When I was a kid my dog was hit by a car doing 60 MPH because he would not listen to a simple command. I took all kinds of dog training classes after that because he survived. That dog was my life.

Thanks for taking the time for a Q&A but I am afraid this is more of a "lessons to be learned" for you, than a fan favorite event. Having the cam poorly set up so that the background is blindingly bright and the focus about a dozen feet behind you is annoying. But in spite of your great looks I am sure most are not here for visual extravaganza but to learn more about you and your cheer career. Unfortunately the audio is extremely low (no sound check done?) so even on full blast it is hard to understand you, especially for non-native speakers. Also missing subtitles when KZbin would even be able to auto generate them for you is an oversight (it is I assume?) that makes it tough for us foreigners to follow at all. Anyway thanks for sharing some info about your life, cheers to your cousin and I wish you and your dears all the best for the professional and personal future!
