When you kill your nafs, you will understand what fruits are. They are symbolic. Most people just live their life focussed more on the outside world and when you live your life like that you will understand everything literally and not see another meaning behind words. Live your day focused on Allah and your inside world. There are so many things that need to be reduced to get rid of your Ego. Let Allah become first in your heart and the rest most stay in your hand and must not fill your heart. You can not bring the outside world with you to Allah. You can only learn about your Self, the part of Allah that is in you. Much love.

سورة الرَّحمٰن In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful. Celebrating Birthdays comes from Greeks and Pharaoh. It was a Celebration of Worship. Look it up. Greeks celebrated ritual to honor the goddess Artemis, the female archetype associated with childbirth, wildlife, and the moon. This is not only innovation But a form of Shirk too There is a Authentic Hadith Anas ibn Malik reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, arrived in Medina during two days in which they were celebrating. The Prophet said, “What are these two days?” They said, “We would celebrate these two days in the time of ignorance.” The Prophet said, “Verily, Allah has replaced these two days with two better days: Eid al-Adha and Eid al-Fitr.” Source: Sunan Abī Dāwūd 1134 Muslims are to celeberate only 2 Eid. Means no Mothers day, Father Day, Birthdays, Thanksgiving all are from Pagans and Idol Worshippers

It’s only a form of shirk if we believe that there is another god and while celebrating something simple like a birthday we would never believe something like that we are simply just celebrating our birthday which is harmless and why would الله punish someone for simply celebrating there birthday? We should be happy and joyful and that day so why take that away ?

I don’t think it’s a tradition for people some people also choose not to do it some people choose to do it.when i celebrate my birthday i feel so much joy and i thank الله birthdays are really special because it was the day you were born so why not celebrate it by thanking الله.
