I loved this!❤ I have been giving the Lord the first part of my day for awhile now, it's the Word before the World is how I'm looking at it. One thing I lack on though is getting up early enough to spend the amount of time I truly want to spend in the Word & with Him. I appreciate the encouragement for rising earlier & starting tomorrow morning I'm going to give it a go. I need more discipline in myself! Praying He hears me!❤

i really love the question about doing enough for one's ministry. the verse that comes to mind is "seek first the kingdom of God, & all other things will be added unto you." just doing what you're called to do regardless of the results, & God will reward faithfulness!! love that!! "you will reap a harvest if you do not give up" - galatians 6:9 also love the chat about everyone spending different amounts of time with Him. sometimes it's a few hours, sometimes it's a few minutes. regardless, it's about being with Him! 🖤 it's always so different for me, but i see Him in everything even when i'm not reading the Word - in books & movies & art. so grateful! also, i just recently read "the screwtape letters" by c.s. lewis & i cannot recommend it enough!! truly life changing!! i also read "mere Christianity" by c.s. lewis a few months ago & same thing - just incredible! highly recommend!! ✨

Great video! Have you ever read any Christian fiction books? Francine Rivers is one of my absolute favorite of all time. Her books made me want to dive into the Word. I know you mentioned you don’t generally read fiction but if you ever decide to, I would love to recommend Redeeming Love (based on the book of Hosea) by Francine Rivers or her Mark of the Lion Series.

I really cannot picture me ever being in to Fiction of any kind. I know that book you mention, and I do know a lot of Christians who have supported her work... I just honestly don't see myself headed down that road of reading.
