After watching your videos, I sent my $160 that I had in the bank to use until I get paid again, to my credit card! And $380 I had in savings I sent to a small card paid it off in full. It’s so liberating! Thank you so much for what you do!

Before I found and started watching your videos, I thought I was a good budgeter. I am but I have a variable, a wife that loves to spend, so I was always taking one step forward and two steps backward when paying our credit cards off. My plan had the cards paid off in 30 months but using your velocity method I have it down to 12 months. I will be getting the heloc then to attack the mortgage. Thanks!

I think I'm missing something. The cashflow money that we put on the credit card goes to pay down card balance. What are we to use for our daily spending....money spent for things other than bills? If we had been putting the cashflow amount into a savings every month, then I could understand using that to pay down the credit card balance. But what if that cashflow money was our disposable income used for daily living between paychecks?

Please explain: I have a 15k credit card free and clear. I have a 5800 bathroom loan. 9100 credit card. How do I get both of these to the 15k credit card?
@selagateena Жыл бұрын
Ask the bank to let you do s balance transfer and then use that to pay off the loan and the credit card. Sometimes, they will let you do a balance transfer at 0% interest.
@sandykay291 Жыл бұрын
@@selagateena I never did a balance transfer before. Can you explain how to do it?
@jeremyhull7916 Жыл бұрын
15K is hard to believe and seems unrealistic. 15000/1200=12.5 If they are that discipline to save $100/month for 12.5 years and not spend it they should not be in debt if this is a real scenario.
@VanntasticFinances Жыл бұрын
Thank you for watching, but your focusing on the savings they have??😂 The scenario is explaining how it is a waste to have savings when you have debt. This couple’s savings actually included tax refunds, etc. if you must know…and are in fact adding $100/month. Some of you guys make me LOL with your silly comments. 😂 Have a great day…

I have only $261 in cash flow right now because my wife and I live on Social Security, but I don't carry any debt except my $1000/mo $130,000 mortgage. I need the $261 as a monthly allowance for eating out, Amazon Purchases, Clothes, and activities etc. How can I pay off my mortgage? I don't see where the extra money would come from. I've watched several of your videos and I'm fascinated, but a little confused.
@bvarbel Жыл бұрын
I forgot I also have a $400/mo no-interest loan for the next 7 months. Afterward, my cash flow would be closer to $700.

Excellent money management! You will need a line of credit. If you plan to use that to pay off your home. Have you considered a HELOC?
@bvarbel Жыл бұрын
@@VanntasticFinances Yes, I'm working on getting a Heloc. I have about $250,000 in equity in my home...I just don't have a high income. Even if I could get $25,000 HELOC, I could see how I could make that work. After I asked my question to you, I made a spreadsheet that looks like your whiteboards and did some simulations. Its amazing. I'm going to work on that HELOC. Thanks.

You could ask the bank to let you do a balance transfer and then you wouldn't have to pay cash advance fees. Also, the bank may offer you a special interest rate on balance transfers.
