Prof. Butterworth is fabulous on the science, but he's absolutely on fire about funding and the importance of science. Great answers.

I sense an ambush on Butterworth that he fabulously dodged! Yes, as Butterworth said, some are capable of picturizing the things than capable of concluding on the lengthy sequence of rules. One should just leverage their capabilities in pursuit of truth.

I have no beef with this Q&A session until at 21:20 Jon Butterworth mentioned why do the Chinese want to build a Hadron Collider then chuckled as if their intention is a mystery. Stop doing this "us versus them" thing, we all are human on Earth.

He couldn't help chuckle because it is silly to think that China wouldn't build one, for all the reasons he outlined. Much paranoia, methinks.

He's answering in the content of persuading politicians and the public to fund science. He knows people are insecure about their nations losing prestige to China, so he's pointing out that if China has the biggest collider, the science with will be done there and the scientists will move there (which of course is also what China wants).

Unusually This time there was some valid and worthy question. Since currently the scientist including the speaker are ignorant of relevant information. I provide some response to questioners intelligent & worthy question. 1- as I told Adam Riess, changes in Hubble constant is due to structure of photon interacting with gravity. It has been wrongly interpreted as expansion, then faster expansion and now expansion of expansion of expansion. 2- electron is useful because it is real. Higgs boson is not. 3- electron structure is round with emissions coming from its surface. Look like a tennis ball, with fluffy surface. This gives it rotation. Mostly in one direction, but it can change direction in cretin environment. It move freely. It is not anchored like photon or nuclei. 4- electron is made of same material as nuclei. The hardest material in physical universe. It can take extremely high temperature. They are failed nuclei. 5- as there are no black hole. Nothing can get in or out of black hole. It is make belief by grown up men who didn’t know gravity. like father Christmas tail. 6- they are not real. 7- entanglement is an interpretation of not understood experiment due to structure of photon. 8- size of accelerator is to provide job for boys. Not the science. 9- photon have mass, but very small. e=mc2 is momentum of particle by Italian Olinto De Pretto which German scientist used. 10- large is made of small. Their understanding of small is wrong which has made the large wrong. 11- project will go on, because every one pretend to be intelligent and they are too stupid to ask the right question to stop the free loafers project. 12- it is not real 13- like others scientist of space and matter, sieving water. Easy job and pay well. Look at data and make up fairy tails called stranded model. 14- imagination is very important to make up stories from a few giggly line like reading tee leaf. And so on. MG1

No sir, I have information and any new ones only present it on official request for verification and experiential test. was there any thing particular you are interested? if it has been released, then I can provide you the information. if it is new you need official request. MG1
