I’m absolutely dying about David talking so lovingly about this *amazing* script they were working with, which contained such stage directions as “Crowley glares glarefully” and “The plants are terrified. No, I don’t know how to show this.”

i love how neil looks like he could cry of pure joy whenever he listens to david talk about his role and the show in general, it's like he's realising how much his work is loved and understood, kind of like a proud dad to both david&michael but also the fandom and the book/show itself.

So many favorite lines in both the book and the series. Crowley talking to his plants, "I'm having a moment here" The moment when he says "We are F***ed!" and the part where Aziraphale threatens Crowley with "I'll never talk to you again!" the low key breakup that happens in the bandstand. The lines about ducks, the 'Oh lord heal this bike!" "Get in angel" "You've hit someone." "No I didn't, someone hit me." "You go too fast for me Crowley." Crowley talking to himself while getting pissed just before armageddon, him talking with Aziraphale in the same scene. "Stuff happened, I lost my best friend." Him searching for Aziraphale in the burning bookshop, the cheek he gives the firefighters just before that. SO many grate little moments.

I got a suspicion that both character would be literally merged or reincarnated as one character at the end. But I think it is too wild. Neil might think about it, but I don't think he would actually go there.

This is the very best interview with Good Omens folks that I've ever seen. First, the questions are genuine, original, heartfelt, open-ended, and well-thought-out. They elicit detailed responses and story-telling rather than just a sentence. Also, the interviewer is clearly listening to and enjoying the answers he's getting. So often interviewers are clearly not listening to the subject at all--they're thinking about what THEY'RE going to say next.

I read Good Omens a while ago and found it very difficult to follow. Very distracted and fragmented storyline. However, I LOVED the tv series! It all made sense watching it and seeing actual characters. I binge watched the show and have since watched it 3 times, so far... They could not have picked at better cast. Also, the interviewer asks excellent questions; not the usual nonsense that is most often asked.

Neil saying that Aziraphale and Crowley can talk about anything.... meanwhile s2e6 exists
@letolethe33446 ай бұрын
This interview supports two pet predictions of mine about s3 that probably won't come true, but: 1) GO will end (Gaiman s3 is absolutely it) with C & A combining to become one being--God. God was somehow split in 2 when demons fell--or the archangels did it to seize power--and the result was the two of them, the best qualities in 2 beings. 2) It will end with A & C becoming human. They'll somehow have to sacrifice their powers and immortality to save existence. I don't want it to end that way--I want them to live forever! But it would make sense with the humanist message of the book and series.
