The problem was that the lead lined pouch was black on X-ray, prompting additional security, sometimes very invasive. They tried to take my meds on many occasions, but I demanded a supervisor. Hard to prevent DDOSing since they can DDOS whatever your IP address currently is. But a VPN server is usually a bigger machine so it can handle DDOS better. I don't understand your use of SOCKS5. SOCKS5 is a way for a client to tell a proxy server what it wants to connect to, yet you recommend not using a proxy server. And last I checked (many many years ago), it only worked with TCP. Also as I recall, SOCKS5 had nothing to do with encryption but maybe there are newer versions. The advantange of SOCKS5 is that it does not require route table entries nor a tun device but requires client applications to be SOCKS5 configurable. Something like OpenVPN is not SOCKS5 as it will encrypt any IP traffic, be it TCP, UDP, ICMP, whatever. But it requires a route table entry and tun device. So I'm curious to know how BytzVPN works.

Anyone can set up an exit node so yeah, they got into the game long ago, but unless you're being specifically targeted by a state actor it's fine.

It's something like 110/7000 nodes that have detectable suspicious activity but that's just a diversion if they really want to they can just do timing attacks probably using quantum computers and find the entry and exist nodes of whatever they want.

I have tried to talk to someone to buy 3 de Google phones but they don’t show how much GB the phones have. Is there anyway to actually talk about which ones to buy especially without knowing the capacity shown? Joined all your groups and asked and struggling to even get on charge. Guess I am not savvy enough.

Go to Robs app (Brax.me) and he has the store on there. Not all phones are always in stock so you'll need to join the chat: brax.me store where Rob gives updates as to when more will be stocked. All his phones are listed with the GB amount as well as if they are GSM/CDMA

What's your opinion of the TAILS OS for extra security?

It's one of the best. But overkill for privacy. it's more for super security

I have multiple VMs set up for different purposes. Should I set up a VPN inside each one, or use a VPN on my physical machine? Thanks, -t Newbie
@readme_nfo3 жыл бұрын
depends on your use case. VPN on only your host machine if you don't mind any and all of your identities you're using on your VMs to be tied to the VPN's IP. in a lot of cases this is fine, but some services (e.g. facebook/google) will be able to build a pattern of your behavior if you haven't used a VPN before. if you want to keep your VPN usage tied only to specific online identities, then you should use it on specific VMs. using windows as a host or guest might be a bad idea for most of this because of the massive amounts of telemetry MS collects as well. there are ways to block the telemetry, but the most effective way to do it is likely windows AME which breaks a lot of MS's telemetry services at the OS level. not here to shill or spread FUD, but it's best to show caution if you take privacy seriously.

@@readme_nfo thanks so much. I use Linux distros, but I wasn't aware of the AME option, might look into that.
