I like this a lot. Being married should be fun. I had a huge problem with laundry on the floor etc, yes I was told to pick my battles but it still gets to me from time to time. I think we have a responsibility to teach our husbands some domestic chores. Some things will benefit one especially when there are children around. We have been raised in different backgrounds etc, however we can still learn and unlearn things. I love you too very much and keep it up. God should be the foundation of every married couple. Be open, be honest, love unconditionally, forgive without measure and these are keeping us going. Lastly my husband always says, hurting you does not mean I love you less, it just confirms that i am human and I make mistakes.

I believe in trusting your intuition n gut. If a guy is asking to wait for him, it can b maybe he is sorting his life or wants to know more about himself or both ways. Focus on yourself n goals and do not loose yourself in the process. Stop trying to hook him up to b his mistress n give him wifey priviledges. Fill your own cup because marriages need emotional maturity n connection. Never try to change him. Ask good questions but do not drill or interrogate the guy. Just chill...u're never late. There is nothing worse than marrying the wrong guy/ or woman.

I agree with making it the other person’s responsibility to guard the marriage, guard their heart against all threats, and I think having access is reasonable: passwords, codes the lot. However, actually actively going in there I feel leans more towards the invasion of privacy and lack of trust. Just my opinion. I want to be able to feel fully transparent and give every access to my partner but for us to be so trusting that there is no need to actually go a step further by reading personal messages. If I start feeling the need to open his WhatsApp/DMs and whatever else then I would know it’s time for us to reassess. It wouldn’t be a healthy space for me personally. Been there- Done that- Got the scars to show.

Next time you have a Q&A.. I've got a question. So I've been in a customary marriage for just over 2 years. My husband and I have fought soo much, so badly over a couple of stuff. Infidelity included and my response to all that was SOO EXTREME! I however kept on going back. Okay so now we're apart again. He's my uni sweet heart.. we've got 2 gorgeous girls. I sort of wanna leave for good, but coming from an African family, it's taboo. Also I'm such a Christ girl that I believe I just need to keep on praying and things will fall back into place. I don't want my kids to be without thier dad.
