It pays off I promise you .

Like so many others, I've been rewatching your videos, and they are so heartbreaking now that you're gone. I wish you could see the outpouring of love & admiration for you, and all of the wonderful things people have said about you over the last month. You had a very special charisma and a light that is far from ordinary. You were sweet, kind, loving, and empathetic. You set a great example of how one can be successful without trampling on other people, without talking badly about others, and without getting involved in petty drama. You were an amazingly talented artist, a great teacher, and your excitement for your craft was contagious. And if course, you were incredibly, stunningly gorgeous. You had the head turning kind of beauty, the kind of beauty that draws you in and is hard to look away from, that rare and radiant beauty that can only come from the inside out. You are absolutely, without question, an icon in our community and we will never forget you. I hope that one day your Momma, your sweet kids, and your beloved Puffin will be able to read all these messages and know how loved you are what a big impact you made on so many people. Rest in peace, Mel. We love you. 💖

I just wanted to say it’s refreshing seeing you talk about your relationship struggles. I’ve been with my husband 21 years married for 11 of those and we definitely have gone through a major hard time and came out stronger. I think now a days people seem to think o just throw the relationship away but it’s ok to not be perfect in a relationship and to have struggles and then to come out stronger

When we're in pain, it's hard to see past our own noses. It makes most people self-absorbed, without meaning to be, concentrating on the pain. I went through years of chronic pain (and still do although better). When I was hurting, it was difficult to step outside of myself and see how it affected other people because I hurt so bad. We all do the best we can. I'm glad things are going better for you.

Since then we really have come around and we are still together and working on being more positive with eachother, communicating better and being more affectionate. Decluttering tip - If the product is lightly used, try selling to Glambot. Their payout isn't particularly high, but they do free shipping and instead of consignment, they buyout directly from you. Just make sure you send at least 15 qualifying items and stick to the list of brands they accept! I usually get around 50$ per 15 items sent.

You have a real talent for applying eyeshadow! You can blend and everything comes out looking great. I really do love you Mel and I always watch your videos, but I am 77 years old and there is no way I can wear some of the eye looks you do , but this doesn’t mean I don’t love to see you do them. I have learned a lot about the application of makeup in general from you. The bottom line is this: if it doesn’t work for Mel or Angie (hot & flashy) then I won’t be spending my money on a product. I bet if you really asked Wayne to do your makeup he would because I know he watches your videos. Thanks for all the answers! Thanks 😊

He came to me in tears, saying he couldn't take it anymore. I suppose I was angry at my body. Anyhoooo, becoming who we REALLY are takes many lessons (for some people). I have grown because of my disabilities. 20 years on ... we are doing great. I take the time to check in on him and ask how he is and tell him constantly how much I adore him. And I do. I actually saw comments from people about Puffin and the comments in the video when you had him on camera with you it broke my heart. I understand people are just being protective of you, but what they don't realize, 2 people are in a marriage. It wasn't all him, yet, he was catching the blame. You clearly are in a much better place, dedicating a Lipstick to him in the collection was enough too say you both were doing great and in a wonderful place. I've been married 20 years, and 8 years in, we had a similar situation. And it made us stronger. Marriages have their ups and downs, without them, you don't grow. But, I hope now that you addressed it, people will see him differently, because he seems like such a cool guy, and ADORES you. He deserves LOVE from your followers because he's apart of your happiness we see everyday❤❤❤ #teampuffin #teammuffin 💋

I was always thinking good thoughts for you both and hoping for the best outcome for you both. It’s important for young people to hear that relationships take work. It’s not the fairytale we’ve been sold, a marriage takes work on both parts. They’re messy and complicated, that’s how we grow as a couple. No one has a perfect marriage, we choose to love someone in spite of who they are not BECAUSE of who they are. Everyday we make the choice to love only “this”one.

For those of you you with sun damage/hyperpigmentation: I'm a NC15, and was a sun baby in my teens, then had to go on Accutane due to bad cystic acne... My face was trashed, big brown "maps" all over my face, horrible... I tried Obagi and that worked at the price that my face was always red and irritated. I stopped it due to the doctor I got it from stopped selling it. Enter one day when I was at Nordstrom without makeup, brown spots in full, when a saleslady suggested I try Dr. Dennis Gross... OMG, this is the best skin I have ever had!!!! I use the Ferulic+Retinol brightening serum for spots, the Ferulic+Retinol cream at night and the Ferulic+Retinol peel pads twice a week, and LOTS OF SUNSCREEN!!! (Avene)

Mel I just LOVE YOU! You are so strong and brave for being so candid about your marriage. Every single marriage has rough spots and times when you wonder--should we just hang it up? You guys are awesome for pushing through the rough patches together. You are my absolutely favorite YTer and if you put out a brush line, I'll be your first customer! TAKE MY MONEY CHICA!!! :D

Hey Mel! This one is from your newest subscriber! I totally resonated with the chronic pain/health situation and taking it out on your family members who have been there for you through the toughest times and supported you. I an understand the importance of that wake up call. Love you more! Hope you have a good day! xx

Mel, you are such a lovely person and stunning too of course! Your tutorials are the best out there, I'd love you to come out with your own make up range (especially eye palettes) because the way you use colour and blend shades is second to none. So glad you and Puffin are happier together, sometimes we learn the most when things are very challenging. I really hope that you and Wayne can meet up sometime soon, you two are the best! x
