Oh Nisha, this was such a lovely insight into your life. You and your hubbie are so down to earth, I feel we could be good friends. I love yr channel, as I’ve recently and currently been going through breast cancer and reconstruction, and my facial skin wasn’t great from 5 lots of general anaesthetics . Your channel has helped me to gain confidence in myself, so I can now feel nice about my makeup and skin. Max's attitude towards college is spot on! I listened to an interview with a man who believes way more kids (especially in the US where college tuition is ridiculously expensive) need to get out into the workforce FIRST to see what it is that they really WANT to do. They can intern here, work part time there, figure out what they actually want to do. Then if a degree is necessary, he says, to go to college at the age of 25 if financially feasible. What 17 year old knows what they want to do FOREVER?? And what if they change their mind after they've gotten a specific degree? I think it's awesome advice!

Your husband seems like a real sweetheart. You are very fortunate to have a man that obviously takes care of you in many different ways and loves you so very much, it shows on his face..............some of has not been as lucky in that department and have to say.............I envy that. I was glad you said you wear makeup everyday! Some people think it’s not good for your skin but I certainly don’t agree. For the person who was anxious about their child leaving home. Yes things are different but good. Now you don’t know about things to worry about and if you have grandchildren down the road that is a plus because you can give them to their parent if they have a dirty diaper or are crying! Ha Ha. I am way older like in my 70’s.but I Ha e a hobby and do other things in life.. I go to church etc. you go out to different things and make new friends who you like to be around and enjoy! I do have a problem with people who make ugly remarks to u tubers as they don’t have to watch and they don’t have to be ugly. I have learned a lot about my now hooded eyes that young u tubers didn’t have a clue about. OK enough I have to go quilt as that is my hobby. Thanks Nisha for all your great info! Thanks 😍

Nisha, thanks always for your openness and authenticity. I especially liked your answer to the woman who wanted to know if, at her age, she could wear “shimmer”...I thought your reply was spot on. I’m a firm believer, if you have a preference for something (i.e., style), then wear it regardless of what “they” say (who are “they” anyway??). I enjoyed Paul’s input as well in this video. I love this. A couple who can talk about the negatives and yet CLEARLY love each other... that's just marvelous and so REAL. We will have been married 50 years in Dec 2024 and beside the fact that I think my husband is an amazing person, one of the things I cherish the most is NOT having to walk on eggshells around him; we are able to be COMPLETELY honest with each other and even accept how we might annoy each other at times...quite like this couple. I truly think that is what it takes. And for the record, my husband makes me feel safe too (he is one of those rare men who can admit he's wrong); it was one of the winning features besides him being attractive/handsome of course. Kindness is a highly underrated virtue and Paul clearly has it in abundance.

Wow, Paul is great!! So Handsome, plus he's got this aura about him that makes me want to laugh like he loves to laugh so it's contagious. Make sense? Of course, I love your sarcastic sense of humor Nisha... Paul should show us some good gadgets! Tell him we said thanks for playing along. Ok, my son is older than Max and I just wanted to say many times the really ambitious ones want to jump into a job running but after 1-3 yrs they change their minds and want to go to university after all. Don't think that deal is sealed for a while. Moving out? NOWAY they're not going anywhere, they know how great it is at home! Until they get married at which time you'll have to insist. LOL. My friend's daughter just left for college (3-4 hrs away) and she was telling me how sad she is and I told her she'll be back this weekend. Sure enough, she drove back home that weekend and has come back 3 out of 5 weekends so far. They're smart and they like us. hehe. xo

This is interesting about Max and food - my daughter, Jennifer, will not eat anything white...she also took time off after high school and worked - then she decided that she wanted to go back to school - so you never know. Excellent tips for wigs and I like to use dry shampoo. I have one son that works and another that wants to attend college and work and pay his way through college or does not have student debt. Oh gosh.. that question about kids growing up and moving out and going on with their life, and mums feeling a bit lost (empty nest syndrome) it's so real, even if you're like me and have a career and have worked all your life, it's a big change, and now I've just retired, it's another big change!! I had a lot of plans for retirement, but poor health has changed many things.... but I have just been able to travel again, so things are slowly improving... stages of life can be very big and different layers at times!!

Love your vlogs. Y’all are a sweet couple and he makes the silliness in your personality come out. I loved it. Side note. It was interesting to hear your thoughts about guns in America. Although it’s true that we have had tragedies and there is gun violence, i think Europeans forget how hide America is. You can fit all the countries in Europe and still have extra room in the United States. So when they say there was a school shooting in Florida and then the next year there was a shooting in Las Vegas... to Europeans that’s like saying there was a terrorist bombing in Manchester and then there was a bombing in Paris. The terrorist attacks are very real in Europe but bc it happens in different countries it seems different. We don’t think all of Europe is always in threat of bombings. Idk if that makes sense. Also. Most dangerous areas are in urban cities and the part of town that everyone knows not to go to is where most of that kind of violence happens. A lot of people here in Texas have guns bc we are in open land and it would take police at least 45 min if not more to get to us. It’s not just for thieves either. We still have wild animals in the Country areas. Idk if that helps ease some of your concerns about visiting the states but o thought I’d just put that in.

I'm with Paul.... I LOVE GADGETS!! My Dad was also a gadget man so as soon as anything new hit the market, we had it! We were always the first in the street or neighbourhood to have the first car, telephone, TV (b&w), colour TV, dishwasher, sink disposal unit, etc. There used to be a TV show done by a hardware store every Saturday morning and Dad and I would watch it together. It was called 'Joe the Gadget Man' in the days of b&w TV... but sadly the stores were bought out by bigger companies so that was also the end of Joe the Gadget Man .... I'd still love to see a show on all the various gadgets (not complicated tech items) ... but I find it hard enough going onto ebay and buying a heap of things I didn't even know existed, let alone that I 'needed' so I end up forgetting to buy what I originally went on to buy! lol
