Many years ago, it struck me all at once and I realized that the animal on my plate was a sweet, innocent, loving animal on my plate. And I knew that eating one animal is no better or kinder than eating another. So now I hear your words and I'm thinking eating duck is no less appalling than eating dog. They're both sentient beings. They both feel love and pain. They both have families and friends. I'm not fussing at you or 'preaching' to you but if you should ever find the interest, there are millions of videos on YT that may change your ideas of animals such as cows coming to hear music being played for them (violins, pianos, accordions, etc) live, by humans in the fields or right outside the fences where the cows live. It is beautiful. They love the music. There are videos of animals that are considered food playing with bouncy balls in fields and chickens literally running to humans and hugging them. It's sooooo beautiful. You seem like you love animals and I think you have a doggy (which there are bazillions of beautiful videos about as well) so I just thought I would share. We're so lucky to share life and the world with all animals. It's such a wonderful world. ❤️❤️❤️

I have been watching a few of your videos lately and I always thought I detected a polish accent behind the English accent. I finally found your video about how you ended up in the UK and it confirmed you were from Poland. ( My mom is Polish and moved to Toronto in 1971)....funny thing is that the video got even more personal for me because when I met my husband he used to wear this ridiculous ring too and I completely forgot about that. lol It looked like a hockey championship ring (but was not). Such a brilliant idea to make a lovely ring out of the diamonds. Thanks for the laugh.

You are such a beautiful person Nisha. I don’t mean just on the outside, as you are very beautiful, but also on the inside as well, where it really counts. I'm Australian and when I was 19 I moved to Wales for 5 years. However, even though English is my first language, I got a job working in a medical laboratory. There was just my boss and myself, and as Welsh was his first language, neither of us could understand each other for the first couple of weeks so we had to write notes to each other just to understand each other! So, I totally understand what you mean about the accents ... I later married a New Zealander and when we went over for our first visit, people laughed at my pronunciation.... so I experienced language difficulties twice. ;) Great love story!

This was so lovely to hear!! I honestly respect you and admire you so much ever since I started watching your videos! You are like a mother I never had, because my real mum is mentally ill (she has some good days, but mostly she's a really negative person because of her depression), and I can't lie that that didn't affect me when I was growing up, obviously, the experiences make us who we are at the end of the day. I kinda always wanted a mum like you. Anyway, just wanted to tell you that you are absolutely wonderful in every way, and what you're doing for mature women here on KZbin is really great. Although I'm only 24 I prefer watching you over any other younger KZbinr, because you are real and I learn so much from you! Loved hearing about your story and how you met your husband. Would love to see more story time videos from you, Nisha! I aspire to be just like you when I hit 40's! :) You have that "woman power energy", you deal with life in such a brave and honest way, in my opinion anyway! And you are such a Lady, with a capital L. ;) Okay, I'm rambling now... Take care, Nisha, and stay lovely and fabulous, to me you are a superwoman! :) With love from Slovenia xx

Well, even us younger girls/women experience stuff like this! Unfortunately so... :( I did anyway. I almost got raped when I was 15... scary times! It all ended when I got out of the taxi and run home, luckily that man never followed me back home, I honestly wouldn''t know what to do if he did. He was actually friends with that guy who drove that taxi so he didn't help me. I had to give that guy a blow job - I will never forget that horrible experience! Women out there - be careful and be smart about your choices! Life can be really beautiful but also quite scary... it depends. Stay safe everyone

Nisha, I love hearing personal stories and sharing some of mine. It's amazing how much we can remember and still recall. Meeting your husband was a great story, thankfully with a happy ending. And how you learned English, moved from Poland etc. My husband came from Germany and was there when Hitler was in power...he came to America when he was 7 y.o. And didn't know any English and because there was so much hate due to a dictator like Hitler, and WWII.....my husband was placed in a corner with a dunce hat on his head...and called a dirty Nazi etc. It is always so sad to me how horrible dictators cause such pain and sorrow for not only those they hate, but also the people that live in their own countries and are victims of war also. Thanks for sharing...appreciate your honestly and openness.

Oh my goodness Nisha. I’ve been watching your make up and hair & wig videos for quite a while now and I love them. I don’t know how I missed this beautiful video. I feel like we are long lost sisters. We grew up the same time but me in the US. The sexual harassment story was my reality at 20 while working in a Florida bar. My husband, who I had never met at the time, and was a NY city boy, and was visiting his parents in Florida and walked into the bar I worked in. The same story. Him visiting me as a customer and a friendship started. Lust at first sight friendship. He had a girlfriend in NY and I had a boyfriend (dysfunctional relationship) we soon had both broken up with them and we became inseparable. We just celebrated our 30 year wedding anniversary this past May. I really feel like I know you now even more than before. I love your stories!! Much love!!💕💕Ronnie

Just watched this, and loved your story. I came to Iceland as a teen , stayed here, for 2 yrs, then went back to Canada, and I had changed so much, this was way back in the early 70s. So I came back here, after 3 months in Canada as I somehow didn't fit there anymore. The day I came back to Iceland I met my future husband, and was determined to marry him. Well, long story short, after 32 yrs of a not so good marriage, he left, said he was gay, and said he used me to be normal... yeay !!!! I have 2 beautiful successful children, ( who both live abroad now, Ireland and Scotland) and I'm still here on a small island off the south coast of Iceland. Just had to share. I enjoyed your story, as it is similar to mine, and I think I also could write a book about my life here ... love your look in this video btw ... greetings from 🇮🇸
