I have to say your my all time favorite producer and I really appreciate how you engage with your audience and authentically share what's real for you. It's interesting to hear where your inspiration comes from in this Q & A and explains a lot where the transformative power in your music comes from. I hope you will inspire a wave of future produces who will follow in your genera transcending hypnotic emotionally enlivening style! Music is medicine and your music specifically has been transformative in my life.

What I love about electronic music is coming across genuine works of art that awaken and transport the spirit. Life is about to get a spiritual awakening with Mind's Eye. Man i can't wait

Everything he gets out of music, we get the same amazing benefits from his music. Very selfless. I've never heard any other music that even comes close to how deep Phutureprimitive loosens the soul and feeds the soul. Resonating human reflections, experiences, ideas like looking into a mirror...that only shows you just enough of yourself what you want to see. And every time you listen (look), you see this 'soul', this 'person'...your spirit And living this experience, your spirit suffers all these things life is fragile, delicate, your experiences are fleeting but these moments you see are real. So in essence if you're life is lacking excitement, your life is boring and mundane listen to good music. Not all music is good music. Free your spirit. Your spirit is a prisoner to your mind and the lies you tell yourself everyday...so stop lying to yourself and start listening to yourself through good music, discovery, art, exercise etc and through listening to PHUTUREPRIMITIVE

I've been waiting for this Q&A! Very cool to get to know you more as a person. I've been listening to your music for around 10 years now. Maybe one day I'll be able to listen to you live at a show! (but I'm in London, so...)

Thanks for this. Yeah it took me way too long to get this Q&A posted but I'm glad it's finally out. 🤣 I hope to come back to perform in London sometime.

Love the new videos man. Let me spitfire a couple quick questions for ya: The Bass song you were working on, any release date on finished piece? Are you left handed? I sometimes smoke a little bud for relaxing and stoking the creative fires, do you? Any hints on new material commin out? (Sorry I'm anxious like a kid going to tous r us, i love your music.)
@PhutureprimitiveMusic2 жыл бұрын
Thanks J.D. 1. If you're referring to the song I made a few shorts about as I was progressing on it, it's still unfinished. Not sure yet if/when it will come out. 2. I'm right handed. 3. Bed has never really been my medicine. Usually sober when I'm making music. 4. Many of the songs on this album helped me cope with and metabolize some pretty difficult stuff I moved through over the past year, which thankfully I'm through the other side. Music is often like that for me... an outlet for things I'm going through. Thanks for asking. :-)

Should have asked this before, maybe for the next q&a. Do you enjoy listening to your own music or do you find it uninteresting to experience something you've spent so long creating?
@PhutureprimitiveMusic2 жыл бұрын
Thats a great question. I actually really enjoy listening to my own music. And everytime I hear it with someone who hasn't heard it before I kind of get to hear it for the first time through their fresh ears.

I love the zoom effects you’re using in your edit. They are different than the average zoom and feel a lot more engaging. Do you slow the zoom as it ends, or am I trippin?
@PhutureprimitiveMusic2 жыл бұрын
Thanks Kyrie. Yeah I like that effect too. Are you familiar with MotionVFX. The zoom effect you're talking about is one of the effects that comes with a plugin I purchsased from them. I think it's the MKBHD plugin, but I'm not positive on that (I shot and edited that video a little while ago). But you're thinking ofbuying it I can crack open the project to double check for you. And yes with many FX you can apply something called "ease" which means rather than just zooming at a liner spead and stopping suddenly it gets up to speed at the beginning and also slows donw before it gets to the end. Most video editors allow you to do that actually. I just like how easy it is with that Motion VFX plugin.

@@PhutureprimitiveMusic Rad! Thanks for the reply. I’ll tinker with premiere pro and see if I can get it to work without buying a plug-in. Being broke affords me extra practice doing things the hard way. 😅

How would it find you to post shorts with some quick positive words for us. There is another person on utube (a dancer) who just pops on and says what she's doing today and that she hopes you have a great day and it just finds me well to have that little shot in the arm💫✊️💪

Question. I can associate a certain openness that you have for truth, passion, creativity etc..... buuuuuut...🫣.... people who are open and welcoming often times have other people latch on to them... past where we are comfortable. Meaning they exceed our boundaries. I'm sure you have had this cling-on situation happen over the years. Many have. How do you manage boundaries so that you are stuck with energy vampires? I'm in a good stretch of none in my life. Boundaries seem to be one of life's ultimate challenges. Thanks brother.🫡
@PhutureprimitiveMusic2 жыл бұрын
Great question Sean. I remember when someone shared with me that when I have a boundary, it's MY responsibility to maintain it, not anyone else's. Whether someone is unintentionally or intentionally trespassing our boundaries, I think the best case scenario is the recognize it's happening and kindly re-affirm and hold your boundary. Obviously there is a lot of nuance that is considered on a case by case basis, but I think thats a great way to hold it.
@seanbrady83022 жыл бұрын
@Phutureprimitive Yes agreed. What myself and others might like is to see a day in the life kinda videos every now and then😃🥳 Maybe it would be a fun lense to create the fly on the wall view of Rain being Rain on an average day. 👌👏🤳 Ps, the time and effort you put in to responding to us here is very meaningful not everyone does that. Gratitude to you.🫶

Brother🫡 Question. Based on how all of our minds work, I bet lots of people see you and figure you have it all put together, and dont stress, worry or go through the stuggles that they feel they wrestle with. I feel it would be an amazing type of connection with us (subs and fans) to share a tough time you had in life. Or something in life that has been a struggle that perhaps you overcame somehow. I feel it would make you that much more real. And could really inspire people who are currently struggling to know that you have and do just like all of us. I feel as perhaps the natives say, and you say, it could be medicine that could be just the thing😁😁😇🤩
