Sam, All the later TCR’s were fitted with the Akrapovic exhaust which I think look better ,the Crome tail pipes look too much like an ordinary GTI but it is all down to personal taste.Great cars which ever exhaust is fitted and just the right sound for every day driving, not to load but sporty.

Hi Sam, The black roof was a factory option for about £500 and you could also get carbon fibre wing mirror caps as an £400 option.There was another choice of wheels with the performance pack which was more track focused and was 19” Pretoria’s fitted with Michelin Cup 2 tyres.

Love the video Agree with all he says The finish on the wheels is a Matt black finish which ties in with the mirror caps they say Only change I made to mine is good quality carbon mirror cap covers 🤛 Which is a factory option but no way paying €500 for the VW carbon covers 😁

Interesting to listen to you both chat about great petrol performance cars… I guess there are hundreds of such discussions from various enthusiasts everywhere. I wonder whether electric car forums produce such genuine affection from ordinary folk, who love that snap, crackle and pop from I.C.E. s.

Personally for me electric is not something to get excited about but for others, particularly future generations, who have grown up with only electric I can imagine there will be enthusiasts out there for sure 👍

What are the recommended settings on the individual mode you mention?

For me I like race/sport on everything but slightly lighter steering. Its worth playing around with as it's everyone's specific preference and it's great that it's available on the car to be able to choose 👍

My question would be, if DCC such a must have setting…….Why does everyone buy big rims, sunroof etc? I can’t find any DCC equipped cars in the second hand market. Ditto where are all the 3 doors going? Replaced with terrible blind spots and less elbow room and feeling hemmed in with the 5 door. Seems to me people focus on the aesthetics and not the oily mechanicals.
