So glad you’re back! I’ve been a long time subbie and I got sisterlocks almost 11 years ago, but cut them after six months 😢 How I wish I’d kept them. But I’m strongly considering getting them again next year, so this video is timely and inspiring!

Do you dye your hair or cover grays? If you do, what do you use and how often?

I have not dyed the grays. I usually don’t do anything to them. I have used a topical cover that I found at the beauty supply. It looks like a mascara applicator but it’s for covering grays. I tried it once some months ago. It washes out after use or transfers.

How long do you leave your hair in braids or rope twists before taking it out?

Hi, it varies. These braids were in about 10 days. Sometimes I keep for longer.

Do you still have a undercut?

Hey Sharica! Yes, I still have the undercut I need to get a new cut soon. I want to get one more before winter. I usually don’t cut it during the cold months and start back in Spring.

@@SimpleAsBDCs I love this suggestion! I am always wondering if I should venture into some of my other interests when I’m posting on this channel. I have so many ideas for the new year and I definitely want to include my reading life. I also want to hear about books other people read as well so I can add it to my TBR. I will be making a video about what I read and make some recommendations. Stay tuned!
