Oh boy she reminds me of my grandmother, I laughed and cried through this interview what memories. I think grandparents are more of an influence, then parent in some way . I have 3 granddaughters I just pray that I have the relationship with them as they grow up that I had with my grandmother.. She was everything to me !!

My siblings and I have always called our maternal grandmother "Mom", because I couldn't say "grandma" when I was younger. You're the only other person I've heard call their maternal grandmother "Mom" -- love it!

You are so blessed to still have your grandmother at 100! She is amazing and definitely still sharp! Both of my maternal grandparents would have been 100 last year were they still with us. My grandmother passed in 1999, and my grandfather passed in 2020.

100 years what a milestone! Your grandma is amazing and I can tell she has had a major influence on your personality and values too ❤ my takeaways from grandma’s wealth of knowledge is that: 1. Relationships are the most important things in life (getting along and spending time with family, friends, and your partner is key) 2. Money is only an asset (it’s necessary to live a good life but life isn’t always about money) 3. Develop good habits while still young (don’t smoke, limit drinking, have a glass half full mentality and get enough rest) I think all millennials and Gen Z can take a lot away from that as things they can improve on

Aw Taylor, I loved this so much! I’m from Southwestern Virginia about 15 miles from the Kentucky border, and her accent and experiences remind me so much of my grandparents. My great uncle and my best friend both went to Berea College as well! I’ve visited several times. It’s a beautiful campus and town!

'Mom' is such a sweetheart and what a blessing that she is still sharp, articulate and can still remember so much of her life at 100 years of age. Great video! This was a great watch! It was great hearing her answers to questions about you. I liked what she said about not smoking, not drinking, and getting enough rest. I read a woman that lived to be 120 rode a bycycle at 100 so exercise can play a part I think as well as eating healthy.
