Thank you all for all your sweet comments about my son!! And I'm sorry that I was unable to respond to most of the comments from this video. It was around the holidays and between family, work and starting the practice I wasn't able to get back to you! I try to respond to all that comment the first 24 hours after I post a video bit in this care I couldn't. Thank you all for your sweet words and Petie says ty too!

Sara Fritz thank you so much for saying that! It definitely wasn’t easy having him when I was still in school. Carrying a baby in a carrier around the UCLA campus with my backpack and Breast pump but somehow we did it. And we survived! It was actually the hardest time in my life but I think it made me stronger in the end 😊 thanks for your kind words. Studying for boards with a newborn was one of the hardest things ever and I still get ptsd from it 🤪

Youngr by Stefani Kappel MD I truly can’t imagine the grit you had to do that. Wow I bet it was brutally life transforming. I had an 8 month old while working full time as a clinical psychologist and going to school part time to get my degree in school psychology. And that seemed hard but cake compared to what you accomplished! One more thing- I see many kids as part of my job and I can spot a respectful, well-raised young person a mile away. Seems you have raised two good ones even with all the challenges of school and work and life. 👍😊❤️

In a previous video you say no to face oils. Does this include formulations utilizing shea butter, hydrogenated castor oil, or any other such ingredients? I'm not referring to jojoba or rosehip, but instead emollients such as shea butter. Please please let me know. Thanks

Barid Bel Medar as long as its not the main ingredient you’re ok. Just avoid products that say “face oils”

Fragrance-free is a fragrance? Did you mean that when labels say “unscented”, that could be fragrance? This was confusing, if you have a moment to clarify, simply looking to understand. Thank you so very much!
@DrStefaniKappel5 жыл бұрын
Ashley Lounge yes so when we are studying for our board exams in dermatology there were over 500 of the “most common” contact allergens that we had to memorize and one of the top chemicals was “fragrance free” which is actually a fragerence. It’s my job to share knowledge and information that you may not have and I do this to protect you. See this is why marketing and companies can’t pull a fast one on dermatologists. We see right thru the bullsh@$. Most dermatologists are too busy seeing patients and are not on social media so this information is not shared but no dermatologists who knows their stuff is gonna but into and believe companies just tryna sell their products with sexy and enticing marketing.
