Yeah - Aoki is his name. 'Aoi' is now used for blue but used to describe both blue and green. So the name of the film 'Aoi Haru' can be translated as 'green spring' as well. It's actually a saying in Japanese that describes the teenage years as a time of inexperience, perhaps innocence (in older British slang 'green' can also be used to connotate inexperience, usually in a bad way).

@ohsoggybullocks it remind me much of high school and friendship. it got so many character story filler that it runs great with the main story. plus the solid acting and script. its a 10 for me.

Aoi/Ao was used for both, blue and green. I'm quite sure that his name "Aoki" should be translated to "green tree" and not "blue tree". It's also the reason why he draws a fir tree around his name when writing the note to say sorry to Kujo. A fir tree is a green tree all year long.
