Finally. Was wanting to see the rp2000 on a stock system, in a newer vehicle. I get mine on Tuesday, to replace my old amp that just died (RIP). My old amp was a 160amp max, 1300 rms. And no dimming or signs that it was too much draw. I'm hoping it'll remain that way with the bigger rp. 2019 GMC Terrain, and 2 Skar Evl's.

@@ert-wert It is a Volume Knob, just not exactly. But you will increase how much bass and DB you produce by altering it. And sometimes, if you're on a really shit stock head unit it's perfectly ok to put it to max, if the bass signal is really really shit. There is no "Only do this everytime" situation with setups. You need to follow the proper steps and increase as needed and on a case base senerio.

you do not need a second battery. to be on the safe side, I would get a volt meter, you can even get one that plugs right into the cigeret lighter. this way, you can see the voltage of your battery, and know that you are not killing it. dont let voltage go under 11

Bradley Casady you have to buy an adapter that you plug into the wires. The adapter adds RCA’s to the radio. They are cheap like 20 bux and you have to buy one designed for your car radio. You can look them up on Carid.com. They are called factory sound system interfaces
