J-Dilla said he produced GTIG himself but wasn't given credit. This tape adds to the circumstantial dynamics of exploitation as I hear how unprepared and uninspired and uninspiring Q-Tip sounds here in studio session.

Circumstantial dynamics of exploitation…he may not have been given credit but he was PAID for it. Far from exploitation…Let’s stop the conjecture & move on.

Ungrateful J-Dilla should have just taken the paycheck and moved on. No point in pursuing why Flyte Tyme think they are entitled to his share of music publishing royalities, why Flyte Tyme illegitimately claimed the legacy that nobody can argue with a straight face is Flyte Tyme sound. Is there also no point in questioning the lack of good faith in acknowledging the exploitation? One last conjecture: It's exactly because claiming J-Dilla's writing and production credit as theirs broadened Lewis/Jam's portfolio that there will never be good faith in acknowledging J-Dilla's work.

@@ainthatsomeshit Yep, he should’ve just moved on. Especially since he was paid for it. Do you know how many films and songs are not produced by the original artist. If anything he should’ve negotiated his contract way better then he did. His bad for sure. Life lessons.
