There was never any doubt you'd get there quickly, and you have. I can't wait to see you tackle a big quilt.

Yes, you have to retrain your brain, but you are fortunate to have the motion memory from you longarm quilting. It is a definite advantage. Excited to see what other practice pieces you are going to share.

Wow.... that's awesome Adria. I'm doing your course on my domestic machine. It's so easy to apply your longarm quilting to sit down. I'm so excited to see what you can teach me on the sit down. 💕💕💕

You're doing great! Just remember to breath and reposition your hands frequently. Now you can quilt a table runner/pillow/dishtowels and other small things when you have a quilt project on the long arm. More opportunities for creativity and money! You go girl!!!!

You caught on fast. 😂 I have a sit down quilting machine, and I love being able to control the stitching at a closer level.

Looks like it hasn’t taken you long to get the hang of it. Are you finding that is is taking longer to figure out you direction or is it about the same? Is the different sound of the machine distracting? Looking really good.

I just find my brain reverting back to longarm muscle memory 😆

I am enjoying my Q20, and I’m wondering if you are in bsr 1 mode and that’s why the jumps when you pause? For some reason I’ve always used bsr 2 or manual mode.

When would you use the sit down rather then your longarm? You obviously have both accomplished 😊
@adriagoodlongarmquiltingco1719 Жыл бұрын
Mainly for teaching. Longarm is my first ❤️ but I heard that there were lots of sit down quilters looking for classes and I love helping quilters!!🩷

@@adriagoodlongarmquiltingco1719 I’m a domestic FMQ but I’ve learned soooo much from your videos. I watch one before I start quilting to get my muscle memory and rhythm going. Works for me! Thank you soooo much!

What made you get a sit down machine? I'm in the market to buy a longarm. I see alot of quilters like the sit down over the moving longarm. What would you recommend?
@elizabethhall1716 Жыл бұрын
You did good. I can do better at the sit down than the standing longarm. But practice improves all of them.
@adriagoodlongarmquiltingco1719 Жыл бұрын
Yes, I need lots more hours of practice 😀 I'm excited about my progress!
