However, the following events would be written differently as well in order to always maintain a positive outcome. The closest to a bad ending Akira Toriyama & Co. allowed took place in the Goku Black arc.

Interesting vid. My theory is: Roshi dies. Chiaotzu defeats the Pilaf gang and Piano. Goku learns about what happened and tries to contact with Kami. He founds him not worthy so Goku starts training.÷ He kills Piano in the meantime. (Maybe even the Pilaf gang since his no-kill policy came from his 3 year training with Kami.) Maybe he drinks the Ultra Divine Water in order to become worty enough. Popo/Kami starts to train him. Kami creates 2 more Dragon Balls (or a new set) and they revive the others. The 23th WMAT comes and Goku wins it. (Possibly with Tien being the runner up.) Chi-chi confronts Goku, they engage. At this point Goku is (depending on ÷) weaker than in the canon timeline since he started training with Kami later.÷÷ End of DB. Gohan bears. Start of DBZ. ÷Goku probably is training at Korin's place. Since Tien is similar in power, maybe they are training together. If that's the case, Kami may let Tien train with him too. That means Tien will become much stronger. (Not as strong as Goku but very close to it.) Because Saiyans get even stronger when they train/fight with someone, it is possible that Goku gets even stronger than he was in canon. ÷÷After the martial arts tournament maybe Goku goes back to train with Kami. (Not to become the new Guardian, just for training.) He may bring Tien too, depending on ÷. If he continues this training he may become even stronger at the start of DBZ than in canon. (Especially if ÷ happens.)

Raditz comes. He either meets Tien or not. If he meets Tien he may survive as Piccolo did. Raditz confronts Goku. If he sees Gohan he tries to kidnap him. Goku and Tien tries to stop him. If ÷ and/or ÷÷ happens they might be able to beat him.÷÷÷ Both of them survive. Piccolo isn't there and no one talked about the Dragon Balls, Vegeta and Nappa won't come to Earth. [If one (or both) of them died (eg. because of the Tri-Beam) he/they will be resurrected. Since no treat is coming to Earth there will be no need for train with King Kai. So it will make literally no difference.] Noone learns the Kaioken and noone gets a ridiculous boost. Yamcha and Bulma might have a child who would be a weakling. They live happily until the Android Saga. ÷÷÷If they lose and Raditz manages to kidnap Gohan he still won't destroy the Earth since he will realize that breeding with humans could resurrect their race (even more powerful as ever). This time Goku and Tien would train with King Kai, they would both learn the Kaioken and they would become strong enough to beat all 3 Saiyans without losing anyone. (Since Tien has a brain they would get back in time.) They get Gohan back (since they would probably bring him with them) and they would be even stronger than in the canon timeline.

The androids come. If Bulma's child goes back in time they might know about them before their arrive.÷4÷ They train hard. Since Goku never became a Super Saiyan they have no chance.÷5÷ ÷6÷ They might get strong enough to beat them but I'm not too sure about that. ÷4÷If not, they wouldn't become strong enough to beat them and it would be the end of all of us. ÷5÷They might ask the Dragon how to defeat them. If they get information about the Super Saiyan Legend there is a chance Goku becomes one. Since Future Gohan held his own against the 2 androids, I think the Z warriors win the fight. Goku could also become an Oozaru (if they wish his tail back) that might be strong enough too, especially if Gohan also turns to one. ÷6÷If ÷5÷ didn't happen they might ask where can they find Dr Gero and they might have enough brain to destroy them in time.

Babidi probably wouldn't come to Earth because it wouldn't have such huge power levels to do so. (He didn't come in Future Trunks timeline either.) If he still wants to come, I think Goku and Gohan would be strong enough to stop him and Dabura. So, my opinion is that they would have a fairly good chance to get a happy ending, and they wouldn't even have to fight Frieza.

I can see a scenario in which they beat Raditz without Piccolo; What if Goku Teamed up with Tien and Krillin? I mean if Goku alone originally could hold Raditz still for 5 minutes, then I'm sure even a weaker Goku (with or without Tien) could hold Raditz down long enough for a Kienzan/DestructoDisk which I'm sure would still kill Raditz like the SpecialBeamCannon/Makkakansappo

actually the only one that would really change, would be cell... unless you are talking about that picture where they showed goku fighting, using kame hame ha, and some other skills. 17 and 18 are not based on sayans or freeza army. I think earth would be doomed in the sayans saga if they wished for gohan to come back to them. Vegeta, nappa and raditz would go to earth to investigate.

17 and 18 are massively overcalculated in power. they were designed to fight saiyan arc goku and yet theyre this hilariously above said goku. even ssj1 wasnt enough. Gero would have continued to watch Goku, overcalculate and send hopelessly stronger cyborgs to go kill him. thats happening independent of everything else.

With this outcome, Beerus would never come to Earth in the first place seeing as how the only reason he remembered SSJG was due to Whis' mentioning Goku as a SSJ beating Frieza. If Goku never becomes a SSJ, Whis has no idea what Beerus is talking about and Beerus likely either just destroys stuff as per the usual or goes back to sleep.

It's a long shot, but perhaps Bulma sends Yamcha's son (or her son/daughter anyway-whoever the father is) back in time to warn the heroes about Dr Gero. Although the good guys would be weaker, the androids would be weaker as well and Cell would be totally different (no Frieza DNA , no highborn Saiyan DNA and probably no Namekian DNA as king Piccolo would only have been around for a very short space of time). Therefore it's possible that the heroes could still have trained up to be able to face the androids-or even just dealt with Gero before he was able to complete his project.

There is a thing with the tri-beam it eats away the user but also it multiplies the user by 10,000x going by saiyan's scholar scaling for the manga and considering tien would be around the 100-300 at around where raditz shows up then tien will annihilate raditz along with goku but then you need to consider tien having a rivalry with goku so that's a thing to consider Ik this what if but this is my take Tien uses the tri-beam and erases raditz and the saiyans will assuming they'll even care. And for the android saga, doctor gero will create strong androids but weak when compared to the Future timeline and the main timeline, so overall you need to consider that dr.gero will only have less knowledge on goku and saiyans on general so the only cells that gero will get is from king piccolo, assuming he creates the drones to spy on the Z fighters as if he will have the material at the time, so cell will be weak he might have Regeneration but he also might not have it. Overall the what if actually kinda ends in a positive outcome until the buu saga where goku will now unleash his potential unlike the buu saga where he has high hopes for the new generation Overall i already know this what if is old but I liked to take a spin on it.

There's two other scenarios I can think of. One, Kami helps Goku fight Raditz instead of Piccolo, we've seen him intervene in order to save the planet before. He wouldn't even need to risk his life, he could just mind control someone. Two, Goku surrenders to save Gohan. What happens after that is anyone's guess. Raditz could be in a good mood and spare the people and take control, or kill everyone but Goku's friends for cooperating, or just kill everyone. The final one would most likely cause Goku to change his mind, though.

There's one other scenario that comes to mind. Assuming the full extent of the situation is explained to him, I can see Goku wanting to release King Piccolo so he can defeat him properly and retrieve the dragon balls he swallowed. Of course, none of his friends would support that idea, but since Goku marches to the beat of his own drum, I think it would fit his character.

-Someone could use the mafuba against Radditz. -devilmight beam -Bulma could also recreate and improve the shrinkray (roshi got a shrinkwatch from bulma and use it to wait in the bathroom) -Baba could use her crystal bal to see the future. with this info prepare for these events -tien would have sensed Goku energy getting lower when he battled against Radditz. Tien would show up quietly and see radditz tail and would remember that was gokus weakness. He heard it way back from kid krillen.

Very well put together Qaaman, I figured that this would lead to a negative outcome due to Piccolo's absense. Though, let me mention another scenario that could have happened: Goku and Tien could have defeated Raditz and here's why. Tien could have at any moment used his solar flare technique to blind Raditz so that Goku lands a direct hit on Raditz with a kamehameha. It would have damaged Raditz quite a lot, but wouldn't kill him. Raditz though would now be weak enough for Goku and Tien to defeat him. Though, this scenario also leads to a negative outcome considering the Androids, but I thought that I should mention it anyway.

I still think Goku may have had a chance against Raditz without Piccolo. Without Roshi or Krillen, I feel like he would have grown closer to Tien as it would have been the only sparring partner he would have had. Tien may have helped in Piccolos place, and Gohan still would have gotten angry and damaged Raditz. As for how they would have defeated him, it's hard to say. Maybe some kind of trick with the multiform technique to grab his tail a second time. It's much more unlikely, but I still see some possibility.

I think the likely scenario in the Andriod saga is that Dr. Gero activates the most "reliable" androids first (himself and fatso) just as he did in the original story. They wouldn't be anywhere near as strong because Gero wouldn't have had the chance to study Freezer's remains or use his alien technology to upgrade his creations. Krillin dies for the second and "final" time and Goku transforms SSJ in a fit of rage, utterly annihilating the androids as he would have no reason to hold back. 16, 17, and 18 never get reactivated and without Piccolo and Freezer's DNA, I don't even know how Gero could even make Cell. So the threat of the androids would end there. Shortly thereafter, Goku dies of the heart virus, and since he can't be wished back either because Raditz killed him earlier, they have to go to Namek. Freezer still doesn't know about the Dragon Balls, so he has no reason to go looking for them there, and they're unlikely to encounter him. However, after Gohan disappears from captivity, Raditz would probably report to Vegeta, so they might encounter him and then ultimately Freezer by proxy. But by this point they would have had plenty of time to befriend Dende, gather the Namekian Dragon Balls and revive Goku, whose power at SSJ is enough to wipe out all of Freezer's forces. Besides which, he wouldn't even have the Ginyu Force there because he only called them in to punish Vegeta, who would defect to the Z-fighters' side along with Nappa and Raditz anyway, so really it would just be Freezer, Dodoria, Zarbon, and some nameless flunkies, all of which would fail to defeat Goku. Freezer still destroys Namek, everyone still flees to Earth, including Goku this time, so he wouldn't be able to learn Instant Transmission but he would have been able to train the other Saiyans. When Freezer and King Cold show up to Earth for revenge, they have to fight four Super Saiyans instead of one, and get wiped out. The Buu saga stalls out a lot like it does in Trunks's timeline, with one of the Saiyans killing Dabura and Babidi. Super would probably not change much, although there would be an interesting dynamic coming into the universal tournament arc, since it's likely that they would have to release King Piccolo at this point so he could be one of the competitors and he would be REALLY salty about it. Also Pilaf and Mai wouldn't be able to veil themselves in the Z-fighters' ignorance anymore, since he would probably out them as his former henchmen.

Wouldn't get Kami involved with a plot against Radditz? Assuming as you said that he would stay out of the affairs before since they're not threatening all life on earth, Radditz though would. Yeah, it probably wouldn't be as effective since Goku's personality even was kinda formed while training with Popo, but I think it would be way better than if Kami would have stayed out. And I think that it's *very* probable that he would have trained at least Goku and Tien. And then imagine Kami being doing his job at that time and informing all Z fighters, then them ganging up on Radditz. I think it wouldn't be a much better outcome, but Kami's involvement is something I'd consider significant still. edit: But sometimes, I'm a bit confused by Kami's motivations. King Piccolo definitely was threatening the earth as a whole, but he didn't interact until Goku came to his doorsteps. Yet whenever afterwards the earth is threatened, he at least tries to do something. And yes I'm aware of the Toriyama factor here.

Kami could have told Tien. But that's more head-canon, since Kami didn't mention anything regarding what he was doing when Radditz did a little bit terror afterwards.

I agree with this, but i would like to add another important thing, Namek, in my opinion since Radits (and by extension Vegeta, Nappa and Freezer) wouldnt hear of the dragon balls i believe none of them would ever go to Namek to find them and the namekians probably would have been left in piece a long time.

Hey Qaaman, love your videos! In regards to the Z fighters not being able to destroy Raditz I would have to disagree though. Did you forget about Mr. Popo? You said it yourself in one of your videos that he would have around the same power level as Raditz, and even without Goku, I'm sure Mr. Popo and Tien (as well as the less powerful z fighters) could have defeated Raditz. The ONLY additional hypothetical situation I could imagine in regards to Raditz would be the possibility of the Godzilla Threshold being crossed and, as a last resort, Kami having King Piccolo released and fusing with him to help Goku against Raditz, as while King Piccolo IS a massive threat, he at least desires to RULE the Earth (even if he desires humanity's destruction), which is at least a little better than Raditz destroying it. That's the only alternate outcome I can think of that wasn't covered here, and it is admittedly not very likely.

Consider: The androids would have been built just strong enough to deal with Goku and his friends. If he was never fully trained by Kami, then Kami and probably Popo would have remained much stronger than Goku, friends, and thus the androids. Also, there's still no telling if Bulma still would have made a time machine in their future and sent back a son, daughter, or friend to go back and at least save some other timeline from being ruined by androids.

freeza would have won if they were dead already. I dont think goku would turn super sayan if they died, and even if goku turned ssj, he would be much weaker, considering the fact that goku would have killed giniyu before body change(absurd scenario, goku killing him off). If giniyu changed body, goku would have lost, there would be no vegeta to kick ginyiu ass. So, if we think goku had 180k power using kaio ken, he would go top 1.8 milion with 10x kaioken, and 3.6 milion with 20x kaioken. We know that super sayans = 50x base sayan goku would have 9 milion power if he was a super sayan without that zenkai boost he got in namekusei before fighting with freeza. Freeza got 120 milion with 100%... no chance goku would have against freeza

I honestly feel like Goku would've released Piccolo for the fight. He's not really one for revenge, but considering the fact that Piccolo killed Krillin and was responsible for the death of Roshi, I personally can't see Goku accepting Piccolo being sealed. If anything, he would train up with Kami [maybe], get stronger, fight King Piccolo, Piccolo Junior is born, Piccolo Junior fights Goku [most likely in the forest somewhere] and then everything would happen normally with only a few minor changes because of age.

Buu isn't an immediate problem as while Babidi will definitely come to Earth (Buu's egg is there) he won't find anyone strong enough to jump-start the egg, and he didn't seem like he would tell Dabura to destroy the Earth. He leaves with the egg looking for stronger fighters. Raditz is the big problem - however, there's actually quite a few options Earth has for dealing with him: - Gero and Dr Briefs collaborate on an android (I'm assuming that the Briefs family tech makes up for any time/motivation Gero lacks in the alternate timeline); it doesn't need to be 17-18 level, just more powerful than Raditz - Fortuneteller Baba can travel to the Afterlife and bring any fighter back for one day. If this includes anime-only characters, she can ask Olibu or Pikkon to help. Otherwise, she can ask Enma (who we know is stronger than Raditz) to come to Earth; whether he agrees is another matter. Akkuman's Devilmite Beam could also potentially be used to kill Raditz. - The dragonballs can't be used to kill/teleport away Raditz as he is stronger than Shenlong, but could possibly be used to give the Z-Fighters the same 'potential unlock' as the Namekian Elder. Goku with potential unlocked should be at least Namek saga level and able to beat Raditz. - Alternatively (and this sounds like a pretty characterful method); have the dragon restore Goku's tail then have Roshi hypnotise Goku into thinking it's a full moon (like he did to Wolfman). Goku's PL should be around 200 by the end of DBZ, which means he would be roughly twice as strong as Raditz. - If the moon has been restored, Carrot Master may have been restored with it - otherwise, have Fortuneteller Baba retrieve him from the Afterlife. Throw him at Raditz. - Have Tien, Chaozu, Krillin, Yajirobe, etc. do the Karin training and drink the super holy water. Yajirobe already drank some without dying, so it seems likely at least some would survive. They each have a move which could substitute for makankosappo to help Goku take down Raditz - Krillin would have decapitated Nappa, Yajirobe was able to cut Oozaru Vegeta with his sword and (an admittedly stronger) Tien held back Semi-Perfect Cell with kikoho. - Is there any indication that the mafuba failed to work on Piccolo because he was 'too strong'? IIRC he learned the technique and turned it right back on Kami. There's no particular reason Roshi couldn't just seal Raditz at the cost of his own life.

So far that is great, but you could have Chiaotzu use his kinesis powers to force the dragon ball out of King Piccolo before King Piccolo is sealed! That would make it a bit easier with less consequences allowing Master Roshi and others who died by King Piccolo and his henchmen to be revived! Chiaotzu can fight Piano to form him and the Pilaf gang to flee as you said! This is how I would have done it. But anyway fantastic story so far!

My theory on the androids bit is going to be a slight stretch, but hear me out. Let's say in the extremely unlikely scenario that raditz leaves earth alone and only takes gohan (also being in the scenario where kami trains goku, like I said this one is unlikely), we can say that raditz didn't think it was worth his time to destroy the earth because of his saiyan pride or something. I think that if everyone was still friends with goku they'd be willing to train with him to try to save gohan, or at least to protect themselves in case raditz decided to return. I think this would cause Dr gero and Android 19 to have some trouble. Since in the time line we see in the show the z fighters were leagues above the 2 when they showed up, I think that it could be possible to at least be on par with androids 19 and 20. Heck they might even be able to take down gero before he activates 17 and 18. Either that or they hold off 17 and 18 long enough for cell to arrive (assuming another character has the time machine for him to use) and they could team up with the androids then. However if cell is able to absorb them then there would be no chance unless goku is able to go super saiyan and the bug that gero used to gather the data didn't account for goku being that possibly powerful. Does my theory make sense/what do you think quaaman?

Hmm, see I feel that given Chaozu and Tenshinhan aided Roshi in bringing fown Piccolo & Roshi actually did it, plus with Kami looking for a replacement, he might just train them all, or start training them one after the other. Also I feel this kinda undersells Tenshinhan a bit, dude managed to surpass King Piccolo era Goku with solo training and no magic power ups, add in the Taio-Ken and tail grab and Radits could be brought down easy, plus the Kiko-ho is broken as fuck even at the worst of times and doesn't have the same charge time as Piccolo's special attack.

You failed to consider the following possibility: After Gohan is kidnapped by Raditz and tells Goku to kill 100 earthlings within next 24 hours, Goku becomes desperate and visits Kami for help. Kami sends Goku into room of spirit of time for 1 day (1 year). Goku probably wont be able to learn Kaioken or spirit bomb, but training in 10x gravity for 1 year + harsh conditions for zenkai boosts would make him much stronger (5000?) than Raditz (1200). Like in some other videos I mentioned wish you could be more creative in the analysis of possibilities.

You are right about that. Ok, let's take this into consideration. It would take some time for Goku to meet Kami for the first time. If already met, then it would take 2-3 hours or even more to get to the tower on Nimbus. Goku may need a training partner, so he needs to search for Tien and that would be a waste of time, so not possible. Ok, he enters alone to the Time Chamber and he has less than one year to train. Goku is weaker than the first time with King Kai and it would take him months to adjust to the gravity, so Goku has around maybe 6 months in the Time Chamber. He can kill Raditz and will not mention the Dragon Balls, but Vegeta and Nappa may pick interest and arrive to Earth as it's a profitable planet for Frieza. A person can only use the Time Chamber for 2 days so you would need to change a lot of rules there. Another method would be the Gravity machine by Dr.Briefs before Vegeta and Nappa, with the power gained after the 2 days used in the Time Chamber after killing Raditz. But then, this is what can happen...Goku learned a lot of Ki control with King Kai and to even advance that on his own would be difficult and time consuming with even little results. In this scenario there are no Zenkai boosts, no training partners, no new tricks, time to adapt to the gravity, low level Ki control-manipulation and Goku had to train in less than 6 months to increase his power level 4 times in 6 months where more than 20 years of his life DBZ just said to DB "Pathetic"...
