It's actually several different breeds such as: asil, shamo, and Brazil. Hmong people just to dumb so they just refer to them as "qaib meskas." Those breeds mentioned were already here by the time hmong people got to the states so hmong people just thought they were from the states. Actual American game birds are totally different from ours, they're used in the knife games.
