Wasalaam You can pray witr either before or after tahajjud You can stay awake till tahajjud, even if you don’t sleep just take some rest and then pray. People in Itikaf will stay awake all night and do exactly as you’ve described. All the best inshallah remember us in your duas too :)

It’s optional to recite 3x. The reward is equal to reading one Quran. So if you do this each night it’s all going to stack up very nicely!
