You can also fly this using avios, if you book a reward flight on BA, to a destination that Qatar sells first class tickets to. This works to DUbai- for some reason, you cannot book "business" on qatar on the ba website- instead you can book either Economy or First. So for example, select a date in Nov/Decc 2025, and search for reward flights between LHR and DXB. I found an option for outbound Qatar First class on the A380 (business seat DOh-DXB), and Qsuite on the way back, for 112,500 avios and around £600. It's a steal, especially if you buy avios buy boosting.

I agree that CDG T1 has a weird design especially when it comes to security. I mean when I took at SAS flight last summer, the lounge we could (theoretically) use was in another wing which required another security checkpoint.
