I flew on the A350 for first time last month, and I can confidently say it’s my favourite plane. I can never sleep on a plane until I went into the A350 and felt comfortable with the chair and atmosphere. For the first time I was able to sleep and not go insane on a 10+ hour flight just sitting there with minimal space.

Hi Dan! Just before our trip to Thailand 🇹🇭 in December we watched your review of Emirates economy class on the B777 and the A380. Apparently we don’t fly as much as you do 😂, so this was our first flight either Emirates. My wife is Thai and have thus far favored Thai airways. We already had bought our tickets so I guess it was too late to change our minds even if your review then had been bad. But to our joy the trip from Stockholm to Bangkok via Dubai was absolutely fantastic! We loved their attention to our 7yo son who got crayons a plush Emirates plane and greeted by name! Kids also got their meal first so we grown ups could assist the hungry little gremlins before it was time for our meal. I know some other airlines does this too but the execution was great! Legroom was good compared to other long haul flights I’ve been on, but the icing on the cake definitely was the wide seats and big screen on the A380! If only I didn’t get food poisoning at Arlanda… So I have to thank you for that timely video and agree with your assessment of Emirates as a first class alternative regardless of class you travel in! I of course signed up for their loyalty program too! I’m guessing Emirates will be our go to when visiting family in Thailand going forward. This was interesting too. I do hope Emirates use the A350 on thinner routes rather than substituting full B777s with the A350 to hike prices as Thai did with the Stockholm-Bangkok route. They can’t keep up with demand now so prices are always higher than they used to be. Emirates were around $600 cheaper for our t/r tickets than Thai and since we needed to fly within Thailand too to get home we basically got a better experience anbeit a bit longer trip, and a better price either way Emirates. I would hate to see that advantage disappear if they replace the B777 from Stockholm with A350 with less capacity.
@Commonsensejoe116 күн бұрын
Great Airline, but I am not impressed with that layout considering what the competition is coming out with. They should have developed new seats to go with their new aircraft type.
@NaenaeGaming16 күн бұрын
Passengers want consistency, Emirates can provide that much more easily by simply installing the same seats as the A380s have always had and the 777s are now getting.
@Commonsensejoe116 күн бұрын
@ by that logic, airlines should just stick with below average seats and not make improvements. Sorry, not letting Emirates off the hook here. Those seats in their A350 are lower tier than ones you find on Delta. It’s 2025, a sliding door suite is the standard if you want to be considered a premium airline.
@JohnGuidetti75116 күн бұрын
@@Commonsensejoe1Sliding door does nothing. Get over yourself lol. Experienced it countless times on BA club suite looks like a work station.

22:18 A Noel Philips crossover video sounds so good! 🤩 That model A350 flying through Dubai reminds me of the real aircraft to aircraft photo shoots 🛫 I’ve been wanting my first Airbus model but couldn’t decide between the A350 and A380✈️ plus the A220 is also a favorite since my dad always used to fly us on Bombardier planes🛩️🌎 The Emirates livery update didn’t sway me much either way, but on a new A350 it makes my brain think future Emirates rather than associating it with the past. Idk why but I thought it was strange to think that 👍
