Good video. I’m flying to Melbourne in Feb and 3 of the 4 flights are non Q suite. I don’t mind about privacy at all, more the comfort, service and F&B quality and this looks superb.

Looked very impressive from start to finish. Thanks for sharing your experience. The only egg dish that I would recommend in the sky was South African Airways eggs benedict in business class. They realky got it right on that occasion and it's such a shame that they no longer serve the UK.

It looks like the windows weren’t locked at any point during the flight which is great - I’ve been avoiding Qatar 787 equipment as have seen them locked on day flights in other reviews.

Yeah so annoying when they lock the windows (not that it made a huge difference to us from the middle seats, but nice to get some slight views of the sunrise!)

At last, something new in a Qatar Business class review: chilli oil. So, what was your Bali arrival process like?

Honestly one of the highlights of the flight, ha! Very easy arrival process. We had visa on arrival online so just scanned our passports with no queue and were straight through.

You were probably just too tired on your second flight so would have probably slept 5 hrs even in economy 😉. And on the first flight you were very excited about going on a holiday… 🤗

I honestly don’t mind the Qatar super diamond setup at all. It’s not very private, but the rest of the seat is really pretty good. I did, however, recently have the mother of all downgrades on a DOH-MAD leg where the Q-Suite 777 I was due to fly on was swapped for another 777 with the (ancient) 2-2-2 business setup. I’d definitely try and avoid that at all costs. But given Qatar’s penchant for switching metal last minute, it’s not always possible! Great video as always 👍🏼

I’d hate to be swapped out to that one, especially from a QSuite, although I would be partially interested to try it for the novelty of something different! Thanks!
