Flown on Qatar Airways recently, I’d say their service is great (not always) and food is delicious, but not surprising good. The 777 was also in an outdated cabin for a 13 hour journey (DOH-YUL), that aircraft is the retro livery and I am quite disappointed that they put such an old cabin for this flagship. The good thing flying with them is the Hamad airport, definitely one of the best.

After the pandemic, the service has become poor, the food has become tasteless, the service is not the same as it was before, the cleanliness has become extremely bad, especially in the toilets. They also try to save more, so they might run out of popular dishes or drinks... After the pandemic, Qatar has put in a lot of old, tired planes... So I think it's better to spend the money at Emirates, Etihad or Oman Air if you are going to fly via the Middle East.....

Thanks for watching! I watched a Nonstop Dan video yesterday about Qatar's business class and he mentioned how overworked the cabin crew are and how that negatively affects their service. I definitely felt that on this flight

I think there are pros and cons. The seat, entertainment system and amenity kit are definitely impressive. A 2:45am departure out of Doha is always going to be a tricky flight to cater for- I'd imagine most passengers will want to sleep so in my opinion the sandwich after take off followed by a more substantial breakfast seems like a sensible commercial decision. Shame about the friendliness and attitude of the cabin crew you experienced- sounds like there is room for improvement there.

Amazing video! Qatar airways is solid, but they are miles behind Emirates and Singapore Airlines. Even Turkish is much better than Qatar (im referring to economy class)

The bighest thing i hate about it is every yr Year i go to egypt but when we land the landing is not smooth extremly rough whan we land inCAI i dont know if thepilot fault or runway and one time it felt like we where gonna crash

Ahh it's like this, the economy class of 777 is kind of outdated specially this was a 777-200. 787 and A350 r rlly worth it NGL, but cool vid ✨✨

In economy class I find Singapore is much much better. Faster service, more attention to detail for economy customers and the Singapore airlines staff clean the toilets on board reasonably regularly.

I agree. There’s so much hype in all the videos I’ve seen but they just felt kind of average. They’re definitely good (better than British Airways and the like), just not the best.
