QATAR Business Class London to Sydney via Doha (QR330, QR908) on Boeing 787-8 and Airbus A380.

We are travelling around the world for 8 months and in this video we experience what it is like to fly business class for the the first time ever! This also included use of the airport lounges. We found that not all business class lounges are the same!
Usually, we are full-time motorhomers and live in the UK. We have shared our recent travels through Europe and have now started to record a much longer trip that has been many years in the planning.

Brilliant guys, we did the same trip twice , once for six weeks then again for six months thirty years ago but not in business class😮 I know you’re going to have a blast out there. We’re the same age as you now so could only do that the same way as you now. Fantastic!

Hi A, we are way behind on our editing and are working on Fiji, then a few places we visited in the states. Then we will be able to give our full attention to Van Isle and all the wonderful people and places we saw. It is absolutely persisting down here and the weather has been wet for the most part since we returned. But southern Europe are having lots of problems with severe heat and accompanying fires. @@pegandrobsgameforadventure Your comment about the chips tasting like cupboard/not so delicious is quite common on most airlines. The catering out of Doha is generally VERY good as opposed to their outstations. How much did you end up paying for the flights? xx

RTW trip was organised through Trailfinders so we didn’t get a breakdown of costs. That said, we understand that the RTW business class tickets were in the region of 7K each.

Im sorry your lounge experience at Gatwick wasnt all that good. Most airport business lounges are fine. It sounds like the Gatwick lounge could be one where anyone can pay to enter. Tip, never have chips on a plane. I'm also dubious about scrambled eggs. We now travel business on flights over 6 hours. As we have got older it cuts out the feeling wrecked for 2 to 3 days when you arrive. After all you want to enjoy your full holiday.
