Okay, this is one year later, Dennis , in early October 2020, after 8 months of non flying. I cannot help but notice how rightly positive this review is, like most, if not all your reviews. To fly is a positive experience, regardless of some of the shortfalls, as travelling is privilege and a joy which if shared with likeminded people is a delight. Note your videos with Jeb and the Wollongong medio Paul, which I reckon have the same message: enjoy while you can and thank the people who look after you in the air as they are working whilst you are not.

Good morning Dennis, No I wasn't brought up in Australia in the 70s and 80s I was brought up in the UK in the 70s and 80s, and sadly, I am all too familiar with Skippy the Bush Kangaroo. In fact when I am walking with my dogs that annoying earworm of the theme tune often comes into my head! Great video Dennis, keep them coming. I don't get a lot of chance to fly, so I have to enjoy the flights along with you. Cheers, many thanks.

agree indeed. I once flew business with emirates, on a A-380 (i was just lucky enough that I got an upgrade at the airport) and i probably slept 1-2h on a 14h flight. Sony mirrorless 4k cameras film much better in-low-light than your current Panasonic HC-VX1 and (the Sony) has an external audio port to put a 'Rode external Mic with DeadCat Cover' for better audio. I really like Dennis Bunnik's trip reports. Two big reasons: No 45 second long take-off rolls and the shots of the menu's are kept at the end so you can exit if you're not interested in that detail. Did the Perth - LHR back in Autumn, and was looking forward to seeing how it was. Very popular flight I gather and I ended up in an Economy middle seat. But didn’t think overall it was too bad. 105kg & over 6 foot. Got out for a stretch and took in the fluids. Very sensible and substantial main meal. Fell asleep approaching the Southern tip of India, and awoke at the other side of the Middle East. Landed at LHR during a quieter spell, before the rush hour, and it felt an extraordinary experience disembarking having done this Journey non-stop. This is the way to go…
