I wonder if Skip Bayless and Stephen A. Smith are still adamant that Jamies will be, or is, the better QB. Winston is yet to throw for 300 yards in a game. Mariota has done it twice, and on both occasions he threw for 350+ yards. Mariota has thrown for more TD's as well, has a better passer rating, and oh yeah, he's played two fewer games.

+1Otownguy Winston's team is winning games. Not just him there you know. Lots of good supporting talent there, especially Doug Martin. Mariota only has on consistently good weapon in Delanie Walker. DGB is young and inconsistent with his route running. Kendall Wright, honestly I don't know what's wrong with him. Harry Douglas is at best a number 2 receiving option. And the Titans RBs are shit. Not to mention the Titans secondary is shit.

And the Bucs have more weapons than the Titans and Mariota had to switch coaches in the middle of the season and he still performed better. That's true but Mariota is legitimately as fast as most of those CBs. He had to zigzag to let his WRs block and 22 almost caught him from behind because he had to avoid running into one of his blockers. Simply put, no one can break an 87 yard run in the NFL regardless of blocking if they don't run close to a 4.5ish 40

Early on, he figures the play is going to die on the sidelines, and he partially dogs it for 20 yards coming up to midfield, giving up a crucial yard or two, before he finally pours on the jets (summoning all the energy he's apparently been nursing) only to end up as the last spectacular casualty.
