If you’re new to my channel, my name is Raul Fagundez. I’m the founder of QBN Kennel. It’s a family operated Kennel, which is just a formal way of saying we do everything for our kennel. From whelping pups, feeding, cleaning exercising and making social media.
How I got here…
I had a lifelong dream of breeding dogs. So, Back in 2014 my wife and I decided we would move out of a busy, over crowded zero space city like Miami, FL and move to small rural life in Cleveland, TX. Where we had everything we needed to start our breeding program.
After researching various breeds and visiting breeders we decided to breed American Bullies XL. Soon after I got my first American Bully XL . I realized there was not any platforms dedicated to educating the first time American Bully owner much less new American Bully Breeders. All you saw was SALES, SALES, SALES. So, I decided I would establish a platform to educate dog owners everywhere and Breeders alike. A platform where I can SHARE my journey. I don't profess to be the sole owner of the truth. But, What I do know I am willing to Share with you. Almost everything I post can be easily applied to any medium to large breed of dogs. Specially those dogs that have short coats.

I just came across this channel with this video. It's been a scanners market for dogs for a while now. It's sad. I've always been one to go the adoption route because I know of people who have been ripped on both sides.. I just got myself a 2 year old Scott American Bulldog from a rescue. He's my first American Bulldog and he's been amazing. He was on death's door back in January. He was a skeleton and animal control found him and called a rescue they dealt with and they brought him back to life. He's brought me and so many other people so much happiness.

I just did mine at 15 weeks and it came out nice my other ones I had them done sooner. With my 15 week old and they came out good. It depends where you take them and have them done right. A reputable vet not at home done by the breeder. Also stay away from breeders that already crop the puppies ears. You should be able to choose what style ear crop you want.

I had the same question about my dogs growth. He is 15 month old now and kinda lean. I thought it was mostly due to his activity level. I do want to try him out on weight pulling, any advise on when is a good age to start him out on it. Nothing extreme of course.

Im considering to buying a bully (with bully pedigree of course, if there is such a thing) but i havee questions about the types: i want a classic bully (i like the refined look) but i cant find a breeder that have classic ones, here in Peru they only have pockets, standard and some xl ( i dont know if extreme are pedigree too). Can you have a classic dog if lets say both parents are pocket? Do breeders cross standards and pockets or standards and classic? All i know bullies change by the physique. Pls if you could answer my questions it would be great. Im gling to the us in a couple of months so maybe i can find classic ones there.

Another way to tell you're getting scammed is by looking at the types of pups they're posting for sale. If they're all different types, colors and sizes (XL, Standard, pocket, etc.) but there's only one of each type and they're all the same age (10 weeks). It's a scam! Pups from a true breeder, for the most part, all look similar. The photos are taken at the same place too.

Mine is due in on Wednesday for it being done but part of me thinks "he's learning and doing so well as he is so why?" ... part of me thinks the whole "it will calm them down" argument is just rubbish. It's been a long time since I've had a male dog and I have even thought about studding him because his temperament is amazing and he has paperwork etc etc so it would be wonderful to spread his genes so other people can benefit from such a lovely kind of dog but argh I just don't know. I'm trying to get perspective from people like you in the US because here in the UK you're frowned upon if you keep them intact
