Janet, thank you for this tutorial. You are a life saver. Was able to stitch out queen size quilt yesterday, No issues... I am so happy!!

Yeah!!!! I love how this E2E tier makes pantos so easy and awesome looking!!! Like you been quilting for years!!!

Janet, you're so knowledgeable about QCT. I appreciate the time you take to create informative videos for us. (and your videographer who I assume is your hubby--good job zooming in)

Thank you ~ and I'm thankful for Doug! Couldn't do this without him! I have QCT loaded on my laptop and that's where I can touch anything on the screen and not have to worry about tearing anything up! I have learned so much that way just by having busy fingers 😊

Do you know if I can bring in e2e designs I purchase from Designs by Juju?
@JanetGeorge-jq2ygАй бұрын
@@craftyesty I am not familiar with them - but as long as the design is an E2E one and every other row does NOT need to be staggered, then the design should work.

@ Thank you. I just wasn’t sure if I was stuck with just the 100 set designs in qct6

What is the red item at the bottom of the stitching area? Purpose? I also notice a dowel on the right side of the table. What is it? Purpose? Good lesson. Thank you.
@Joyfulstamper5 ай бұрын
I have dowels on both sides - to keep the weight of the clamps from weighing the sides of quilt down. I'm not sure what "red item" you're referring to? On the top front rail I have pink clamps to hold my quilt top in place and keep it from pulling up during quilting (I float). Edited ...... I think I know what you're talking about! The red Christmas ribbon stretched across! This video explains it all! kzbin.info/www/bejne/oH3Yo4aond6eq9Esi=7AEkJqn7ELswm2nj

Hi Donna, I was thinking of purchasing the QCT 6 plus for my Qnique 14 plus machine. My question is will the videos that you have for the QCT 5 apply to the QCT 6. Thank you and I really enjoy your videos.
@Joyfulstamper5 ай бұрын
Hi! This is the link to Donna's videos: www.youtube.com/@donnaroysononquilterscreat6824/videos 🙂 Yes, videos for v.5 will also work for v.6. V.6 has the new E2E tier and Power Panto has had some updates. Other than that, you'll be fine to watch QCT5 videos.

Sad you can't save the "setup" of your "job" as a file. Love how you can set the width btwn rows though and it knows where to go. Wish plus did that - i always goof that up. I haven't upgraded yet...
@Joyfulstamper5 ай бұрын
If I had Beginnings, I'd upgrade to Plus just to get my hands on the E2E tier!!! Any quilt I wanted to quilt from raw ede to raw edge - with pattern that didn't stagger - and for sure a pattern that nests!!!!! - I'd totally be using the E2E tier!!!
@Joyfulstamper5 ай бұрын
P.S. I have tried it out -- turning off for the night and re-setting up the next day. Was super fast and super accurate!!! Not saving is not even a factor! You just need to have marked the placement spots for next row after finishing the last row.
@pattypoole60615 ай бұрын
When you enlarged the pattern, did the spacing between rows stay the same?
@Joyfulstamper5 ай бұрын
It's your choice - I did change the spacing though. It made my eyes happier 🙂

Can you show how to use the marking tool?😊
@Joyfulstamper5 ай бұрын
The Marking Tool isn't available in the E2E tier ..... but it is in both Plus & Pro versions. I'll try to make a video soon just showing using it. It is SUCH a versatile & valuable tool. Both for using as a "frame of reference" to having the choice to actually quilt out what you mark. I call it the Poor Man's Ruler since you don't need a ruler base or ruler foot to mark lines to sew😂
