Oh my gosh! I can't believe you have chenet trees! I live in North Texas so it probably isn't a good place for them but it is still exciting to see fimiliar fruits from back home in the US.

Alan, how do you feel about purchasing bareroot plants by mail, as opposed to potted plants? I purchased a barefoot kousa dogwood sapling a couple of years ago, planted it, but it never survived to the second year. I purchased another of the same kousa dogwood tree, but a potted plant this time, in a so-called "nursery bag," and hope to have a better overall experience with it. It is scheduled to be delivered to me next month. Thanks.
