1980 ..... களின் இசை.. அது என்னமோ தெரியவில்லை. அந்த நாட்களின் இசையை கேட்கும் போது அந்த காலத்திற்கே நாம் சென்று வாழ்வது போல் உள்ளது.... உண்மை அனுபவம்... ஆஹா சென்ற காலங்கள் நிஜமாக வரவில்லையென்றாலும் இசைசக்ரவர்த்தியின் இசையில் நாம் கால சக்கரத்தின் பின்னோக்கி சென்று வாழ்வது போல் உள்ளது.. உண்மையிலேயே அந்த கால வாழ்வு திரும்ப வராதா என மனம் ஏங்குகிறது.

SREEREENGAR..பின்னணி பாடகர்களில் 80 ஆயிரம் பாடல்களுக்கு மேல் பாடி இசையை மூச்சாக சுவாசித்து கொண்டிருக்கும் ஜானகியம்மா அவர்களை போற்றி புகழ வேண்டிய, தருணமிது. பாடும் நிலா படத்தில் ஜானகியம்மா பாடிய தேனூரும் ராகம் நான் பாடும் நேரம் விண்மீன்கள் வானின் மேலே தூங்குதே..ஏஏ என்ற பாடலை QFR ல் கேட்கவேண்டும் என்ற ஆசை உள்ளது. அந்த பாடல் இடம்பெற்றால் மண்னோரையும், விண்னோரையும் தாலாட்டும் என்ற நம்பிக்கை உள்ளது.

கல்லூரி காலத்துக்கே கொண்டு சென்று விட்டீர்கள். இது போன்ற சில பாடல்கள் மனதை வருடி செல்லாது. Anabond போட்டு ஒட்டிக்கொள்ளும். மேடம் பாடலில் உள்ள சங்கதிகளைப் பாடி விளக்கும்போது, ‘... முன்பு விளங்காத உண்மைகள் விளங்கும்’ என்ற பாடல் வரிகள் தான் ஞாபகத்துக்கு வருகிறது. Wow!! Sowmiya Mahadevan sang this song so beautifully and it’s commendable. Whether it’s low & high pitch with birkas, she has done 100% justice to this song. She deserves to be noted for future songs through our brilliant Music directors, and A R Rahman will definitely make use of such voices with pleasure.

This is easily one of SJ’s top 10 songs. Not an easy job to match SJ, she’s always THE BEST. Good attempt by young Sowmya. (We are not here to compare at all) Shuba ma’m- this song has come really late. Pls dig more of such gems.
