Pleasant surprise from QFR! Good choice of singers and well-reproduced by the team. Srivardhini is part of Maestro Ilayaraja's troupe and spouse of Thaman. ILAYARAJA is the DARK HORSE of Indian music. People of one state do not know his songs/movies in other languages. And they say music has no language?! This song is a STAPLE of Telugu land, played even today at weddings. There is a plethora of his songs/music waiting to be explored, all strewn like pearls across the web; it would have been done if the nation was not divided by language/region factors. IR does NOT create cheap hooks/loops, or limit the "hook" to pallavi alone. Aural pleasure is there from bar 1 to the last; he builds and "composes" a song in such a way that the surprise and pleasure only keep growing and not diminishing. That is why no one can simply replicate his music. Hope you present more of his songs from Kannada and Malayalam too.
