The 2nd interlude from "Poonthalir Aada" 1981 film "Panneer Pushpangal" sounds like 2 acoustic guitars being used in tandem with the Base guitar. It sounds like a western classical piece by J.S. Bach with counterpoint being used. Possibly Sadanandam Sir and either Radha Vijayan Sir or late R. Chandrasekhar Sir could have played on this. Also the title track from the 1980 film "Nenjathai Killathey" is a brilliant piece featuring classical guitar and Base guitar in tandem. "Manadhil Enna Ninaivugalo" from the 1979 film "Poonthalir" features Electric, acoustic and Base Guitars not forgetting the ming boggling theme from the 1980 film "Moodu Pani". I wish Sadaa Sir and Radha Vijayan Sir had played some of the above in this programme. Thank you Shubha Madam for this programme. Thoroughly educative and informative. Good involvement from Shyam Benjamin. Great guitar playing on MSV Sir's tracks "Ooty Varai Uravu" theme, "Malar Endre Mugam" and "Yaar Andha Nilavu". Both guitarists are humble and down to earth gentlemen.
