I like your in depth format. Looks like you did the raster map of Sweden you use as a background. Would be nice if you could show us your workflow from once you've collected all the shape files to the export. Basically how to make a legible country/regional map. I'd be curious if you know how to deal with loads of SRTM/ASTER tiles so you can eventually use them to make a topographic map.

I'm "Just Trying to do Plot Plans" . I need Latitude-Longitude; heading-distance. Property development layouts. I need to have data management to log the property markers. This needs to be on one layer no "effects". I don't need transparencies, yet. So far all I'm seeing with QGIS is a bunch of "PhotoShop" tools. I need to do some Inventory control of large machinery/parts and be able to walk out with a cell phone (using GPS) on location and find and verify the parts. I'm not going back the Proprietary Software route as the "support" is nonexistent. Give me coordinates and a way to acquisition. Simple, not complicated.

I use OBS, but at 4K the system struggles with the Nvidia drivers and downsampling, so I may try SimpleScreenRecorder.

Request Topic. I have shape files for tracts. I have a database that can be exported to Excel. Each tract has multiple owners, each owner with a fractional interest that when all owners for each tract are included, adds up to 100% ownership. I might have only 30% of my owners listed in my database. How do I map the sum of percentages of multiple owners to specific tracts? My database will show a specific "MapID" for each tract. Is there only one MapID for each specific tract? OR, will each owner have its own unique ID being a subset for each specific tract? How do I set this up show my map can show the % ownership for the entities in my database?

Hi Joseph! I create videos, blog and write books on my spare time. Unfortunately I don't do on location training. I suggest you try to find a local firm or educational institution that have this to offer. There are also some global companies that probably gladly will train you at your location as well, if the price is right.

The initial background map is from a national WMTS service (lantmateriet.se). The points is also available from the same source as open data downloads. You will need to register for the service and for an account to download.
