現在運転見合わせになっている大館～弘前間は作業が順調に進めば１月１１日から運転が再開できる見込みだと発表がありました　ただ１月８日から１０日にかけて秋田県地方で大雪が予想されているため天候次第ではさらに運転再開が遅れる可能性もあります

大舘から弘前までの特急つがる号やスーパーつがる号の停車駅は大鰐温泉のみです。つがる号は碇ケ関にも停車します。
