Proprioception even applies to limbs and digits that are no longer there. I know exactly where my toes are and can 'touch' them with total accuracy with my eyes closed. Kinda weird given I had both legs amputated years ago!!

I knew of phantom limbs thanks to V.S. Rama(chandran?), an Indian neuroscientist in the UK who worked in the same research institution as Francis Crick.

A good reminder of why television always uses studio audience or laugh tracks. We are such social creatures and respond subconsciously to mass displays of emotion - especially laughter. I can't answer your question but I would guess it can be googled.

I’ve had 3 different dogs, 6 in total, that would climb onto their “window viewing box” about 5 mins before you would pull into the driveway. Everyday for everyone in the family. Good dawgs!! I took touch typing when I was 13 or 14 and it was an unusual class because as many boys took the class as girls, maybe more. The teacher told us to look at her when typing and the boys had no trouble with that because she looked like a playboy bunny and wore tight fitting clothes.

"I don't see why you couldn't get them for the dog." Because it'll stress out your dog and make them uncomfortable all the time just for your own comfort. It could even cause medical problems when they're wearing them long-term. The only justification for making a dog wear underwear/diapers is if they're suffering from incontinence, not "I don't want to deal with an occasional bad smell for a few seconds."
