As someone who has had pneumonia I can say that it is the absolute pits. Even once you are over the illness itself it can take months before you feel fit again. In my case it took three months between contracting it and feeling more or less okay (although still with low energy levels). Wishing you well Sandi.
@daniellamcgee42512 жыл бұрын
Pneumonia is pretty awful. I have had it innumerable times throughout my life. It was impossible to maintain work. Now you have an idea what people with Long Covid feel like all the time. And other auto-immune diseases like CFS/ME and fibromyalgia. If you are able to open an envelope, I am jealous of your strength! Pneumonia is obviously particularly scary for the very young, and elderly. I am glad you survived it! I didn't know Sandi had/ has pneumonia. I hope she has a rapid recovery, too. [David Attenborough, whispering] Here we observe _Realis humorista_ of the genus _Britannia_ in the family _Ridiculum_ as they preen in their native habitat. While even experts have difficulty distinguishing them from _Falsus humorista,_ the latter are rarely found in this ecological niche, the stage, and almost always observed holding a pint in a pub. Interestingly, the quickest method to confirm it is a _Realis humorista,_ requires the researcher to use a member of _Homo sapiens_ that speaks American English. First, the researcher shows to the _Homo sapiens_ tester an audio-video recording of a preening _humorista_ until the tester yells, “Stop deleting KZbin’s automatic and freeeee closed captions!” The researcher then plays a video of the same _humorista_ as it performs social strutting. If the _Homo sapiens_ tester becomes increasingly tense, then it is probably a _Falsus humorista._ (This method doesn't accurately identify _Falsus humorista_ because _Realis humorista_ with the Scotts variant are usually misidentified as _Falsus humorista._ ) If, however, the _Homo sapiens_ tester has fewer complaints about the lack of subtitles, then it is certainly a _Realis humorista._ The prevailing theory is that _Realis humorista_ is able to perform social strutting far better than _Falsus humorista_ by adjusting its enunciation, articulation, and cadence, and the tester is able to understand the vocalizations. -------------- Seriously, either your settings are horribly misconfigured or you are deleting/unpublishing the automatic transcription. I was unable to understand half of this clip even after I rewatched some parts multiple times. I'm not asking for actual transcripts: merely keep the imperfect, Google-generated transcript. Thanks!
