Thanks for your efforts Frank! That solution will work for customers if they're skilled with working on MAINS AC wiring. I would not suggest to folks who aren't confident to work on this. There are several SSR solutions out there to choose from but.. Our fellow creator; Grant over at 3D Musketeers did a livestream on 11/8/24 that tests THE LATEST replacement board from Qidi. Toward the end of the video Grant mis-wired it but eventually with help from the chat got it working. And it performed well within the parameters. For those reading this... I would request the latest board from Qidi & also request a 1 yr extended warranty. That's what I did. My replacement board will arrive around Nov 12-13. Qidi sent me a video & it shows how the wiring is different too. TO REITERATE,.. If you are not confident working with Mains AC wiring get help from a licensed electrician! Good luck ya'll.. *Hillbilly Engineer*

Cool self fix. For anyone not wanting to so all this. Qidi has a beefed up ssr coming to North Americans, they are shipping it out this week to people that email them. Its a direct replacement.

Thanks Frank! Looks like you have room for a larger fan. Could you put a temp gun on the SSR and see how hot it is?

Where'd you connect the old fan? Is there a spare fan header on the motherboard?
