Hey James, loving how you are repeating each day. Gives me a chance to truly embody and tune in. Question what is the significance of the 7 taps and also thumb towards pinky finger when curl the hand into soft fist? I too am a movement teacher and seem to be getting pulled to this form. I teach yoga and Somatics . For me it feels like a natural flowing pandiculation . Really learning and enjoying your style. Great job on your plants also! I am a plant lover as well I can appreciate your beautiful space and the care that goes into it.

Hi Darlene, I've been trying for ages to find the significance of the 7 taps specifically but its a mystery to me. the tapping itself is said to refresh the brain though, it's also very effective for temporary alleviation of tinnitus for some people. the Thumb is connected to the lung meridian, and the pinky to the heart, my sense in my body is that it brings a feeling of vitality to the cardio vascular system connecting these channels in a circuit - how do you experience it with that information? And yes to somatics! 😍 The intelligence of that way of being and sensing... its spellbinding!

@@MoveWithJames ahh thank you fun that it is a mystery and we can all have our own experience. The thumb towards to the pinky/ring finger so naturally it reminds me of being in a womb again LOL! two very intelligent fingers meeting :) Your teaching is very somatic to me, which is why I enjoy it so very much. I have been practicing these forms everyday and simply love how they land in my whole being.Eager to learn more, do you have any teacher trainings or workshops happening?
