Qlimax these days is nothing compared to this. I mean look at the effort put into this compared to nowadays. It's all focussed on 1 stage now instead of having the entire room full of different light shows etc, nowadays there isn't even strobe lights and the room stays lit the majority of the time which is not the point of an indoor party where it is supposed to be dark with lightshows

I found this in maybe 2009🤔first time ever discovering hardstyle was Lunas set🤗his starts off with a banger and subtly settles🤗his set though has to be most fire because he starts off full blown intensity on his set🙂the prophet also has some bangers in his set as well but he doesn't bring them out right away like luna did🙂and I'm just watching the last bit and Deepak started fire too🙄

I'm not gonna say it was better before. Hardstyle has grown so much and DJs have gained so much experience in production. Nevertheless, old HS tracks have this special feeling that makes you wanna dance that it just unique. I would love to hear this im clubs rather than nowadays techno for example.
