@llllCaRBoNllll actually hatsumi is SECOND there is no evidence for his teachers claims going past that teacher... even kacem says that the densho were all written by takamatsu... and there IS no transmission of kuden happening in the bujinkan.... either way, not a direct transmission of 30+ generations.

Hatsumi is having a laugh,there is no such thing as a ninja fighting style and even if there was the techniques MUST be pressure tested or someone will test them for you....

Ninjitsu hand to hand combat is taijutsu,which is what ever hand to hand system that ninja learned or whatever that clan taught.ninja were chameleons.they learned all systems,which is why there is no system exclusive to them at all.now the techniques of deception, infiltration and philosophies are what make a ninja an actual ninja.also the actual things they did in life.one could call them self a ninja if they lived by those things even if they practiced karate as their for of taijutsu.taijutsu is what they practiced unarmed and it is just an umbrella term.
