Esmond, I know the channel is yours and you've been making an excellent content. It shows how much work and commitment you put into this. I just wanna say that the most important assets are your friends. Paul have a cool style and Gabriel is really charismatic. Liang Ying is a creative madlad. And specially Matthew, who cannot buy all the cards(like most of us), but play with passion and dedication(congrats on the win btw). They are the backbone of this whole experience. So, if you didn't know, Abdel can combo infinitely with Restoration angel. With Res Angel on the field, if Abdel comes into play, you exile Res Angel with it. Then, if you can flicker Abdel, because of the way targets are selected, they will flicker each other (and whatever else you want) until you chose to stop, creating infinite 1/1 soldiers and ETB triggers. The nitty gritty: because of the way Abdel is worded, his ETB trigger sets up a one-shot effect so that THE MOMENT he leaves, all exiled permanents return under their owners control. Because flicker exiles THEN returns, all the exiled permanents return BEFORE Abdel hits the battlefield. Then state based actions put Res Angel and Abdel triggers on the stack in that order, which is when targets are selected. So you select targets for Res Angel (targeting Abdel), then select targets for Abdel (targeting Res Angel). Abdel's trigger resolves first, exiling Res Angel. Then Res Angel trigger resolves, flickering Abdel. Then the whole thing repeats until you choose different (or no) targets! I built an Abdel deck, and I had to do a LOT of research to make sure I was playing it correctly. I learned a lot about state based actions and one-shot effects, and I love this interaction :)

9:51 So elesh norn actually CAN HELP crew the vehicle. You can essentially "overcrew" vehicles, as long as the total power of tapped creatures is the crew coat number. That would then allow you to blink the elesh norn with the boat.
