That's not fair! 😂😂 They did their job, they did give you what you needed, it just wasn't exactly what you thought you wanted! 😂😂 You can't tell me that joy isn't worth a 10/10 even though you didn't get to hear your favourite! I'm the one in the purple Home Free heart t-shirt and the one who introduced you to Luke after the concert. I'm not surprised he knew who you were, he's very involved and they make it a point in recognising certain people. He knows me for being one over the very first European Fries and Patrons, as well as the one who started the first Facebook fan group for European fans (Home Free Euro Fry Family, exclusively for Europeans or those having been to/going to European concerts). Oh, and one of the not crazy people up in the front standing up from the beginning! It was amazing meeting you, and Daniel! Meeting people is a HUGE part of going to Home Free concerts. I love people telling me stories of great experiences they’ve had. Thank you for taking the time to share with Jennifer Glazthofer is a singer, voice coach, reactor and certified home fry. She was in the front row with a “Keep Calm and Support Tim Foust” t shirt on. There is a clip of Tim telling an audience that they are likely going to be disappointed because they didn’t do a favourite song. It was probably snarky. If I find it I’ll post. So glad you had a good time at the party.

Great pictures and video's! 👍🏼 Yes, they are really great, aren't they? I was lucky enough to see them for the first time on September 27 in Utrecht. For me a regular ticket because I could not spend more. But that didn't spoil the fun. I had a seat slightly to the right of Home Free in the third row. A great place for me. For Home Free I went out of my comfort zone, because I went all alone, something I didn't even dare to do before and couldn't even do. I also dared to have a chat with other Home Fries. But this is what Home Free gives me. Not only amazing voices, for me the best beatboxer and good entertainment, but also a very good happy confident feeling.😊

@@MyLorissa Yes, I was quite proud of myself too. 😅 It was quite a victory for me. But at the moment I felt no fear at all. Rather freedom and happiness. Probably because I want so much to see them. Only I don't think a word would have come out of my mouth if I had done a Q+A or VIP. 😉 I'm Dutch and I wouldn't know a single English/American word. I couldn't get the word yes out of my mouth myself. 😂If I wanted a Q+A/VIP next time, I would first have to save a lot of money. And secondly, I would have to take one of my children with me to have them talk. They can speak it fluently. Especially my eldest son who is regularly in America and even speaks with an American accent here in the Netherlands😄

We were dancing in the aisles for the whole show! Tim's bass was indeed epic and I don't know how it was for you but whenever he hit a low note the floor beneath my feet vibrated and the vibrations went all the way up my body! 🤣🤣

I saw Home Free in the second row in a tiny venue in SC last year and they were absolutely great live. BETTER than what you hear on recordings because it is so raw and real. The show is full of comedy and fun audience participation too. Just got tickets for Charlotte in Dec. Excited to see them and support them again. Go see them, you won't be sorry.

In a live video taken of one of their concerts, Tim says to the audience that he's sure they all want to hear just one particular song out of the approx. 200 they've done. He goes on to say that they don't give the audience what they want, they give them what they need. I love that song too & I'm sorry it wasn't part of their set lists. Thank you for giving us a run-down on your experience and I'm glad they lived up to your expectations.

I thought you were going to say that Tim didn't break the sound system or shake you out of your seat (which you wouldn't have been in, anyway, if you were standing up for all but one song)! 😀 I'm SO glad that you got to go. Personally, when we got to go in 2017, I felt like that was the best concert that I had EVER been to, and I've been to many over the years, in several different states. The one song I was REALLY wanting to hear, when we went, was "Go Rest High on That Mountain." Now, I would really LOVE it if Dan Vasc would go on tour here in the U.S. and I would be able to go, but (sigh) that probably will never happen, so I'll just have to rely on you to add some more reactions to his existing library of wonderful songs (please? or pretty please with sugar on it, as we kids always used to say to our mom and dad when we REALLY wanted something badly). I hope you will react sometime soon, to "Black Wind, Fire, and Steel." If you do, you will want to go ALL the way through, and listen to his very special outro for that song. It's pretty important. 😀 Again...HUGELY GLAD that you got to go hear Home Free in person, and thanks for sharing the experience with us.

My friend and I saw them In Birmingham on Friday night. They were amazing!! BUT…my friend and I wanted to walk from our hotel to the venue so we’d know where it was. We got there and asked a security guy how it worked with unallocated seating. While we were talking to him Tim and Rob came strolling up and I shook hands with them! Then a few minutes later Adam Rupp came up, too!! I didn’t have my phone out to take photos either!! I love Hill Billy Bone, too… but they didn’t do ‘ Blue Ain’t Your Colour’ either…and I love that, too. TBH…I love most of them.

I loved your live reactions. I watched the livestream, and loved seeing some of the parts from your view - for example when Austin joined in on the no-monica with Adam. I would have been upset about not doing Hillbilly Bone too, but given how many songs they have now, it's amazing how many they did fit in. I still give the concert an 8.75 :)

You mentioned being disappointed they didn't do "Hillbilly Bone". Tim sometimes does a bit where he asks the audience to yell out a song they want to hear. He listens and says "all great songs, none are in the show tonite". "HF has over 250 songs, so, this is a life lesson in managing expectations". "HF doesn't give you what you want, we give you what you NEED". 😉

I saw them in West Virginia (USA) in August and I agree with you on Hillbilly Bone. I wouldn't knock them down to an 8 of 10 for it 🙂, but that song would rock the house. I think they used to do it live at one time--before I discovered them. I'm glad you enjoyed them! Your concert video was great.

You mentioning that there was only 3 black people at the show made me howl in glee. I've been to three of their shows (Victoria, BC, Canada & Stockton, CA & Stateline, Nevada) and at each venue I find it so amusing that I'm the only black person in the whole place. I got to meet Chance's wife Sami because she was working the merchandise table and I was happy to congratulate her on her marriage and asked her the question that had been plaguing me since their announcement: what last name is she using now. Answer: she's not changing it. I also got to talk to a couple of their crew members often seen in their BTS videos and passed on my love and appreciation to the guys' choreographer Kristin Denehy. In fact one of them recognized me from a previous show (I guess I do stand out a but, huh?) and gave me an advertising poster he was taking out to the trash. It's going on my wall as soon as I find something that will stick to my cheap-ass walls more that a couple weeks. I will alway treasure the memories of that show. Especially Austin telling me he liked my hair, which is dyed mermaid blue/green. Let's see if that's topped in Omaha, Nebraska this December.

Texas must have more Black Home Fries 🍟(Houston, Texas) because I’ve noticed an increase of all cultures % . Many times it’s each culture simply finding Home Free for their first time, experiencing their amazing harmonies and relating to their amazing music. So I’ve seen an increase of all cultures attending Home Free concerts and that is exciting to me! When we share music across all cultures, I believe we communicate together much better and sincerely. Also maybe seeing a few different cultures attend will encourage others that love them to share the music 🎶 live too

Except for stupid me getting there too bloody late for the meet and greet the Omaha show was fantastic. I did see two other black people there. That made me smile. I stayed at the EVEN Hotel and that was wonderful (EVEN = all the rooms are even numbers.) The service staff were on point, the food was delicious, and the bed was the most comfortable I had slept in in years. Anyone going to Omaha? I do recommend the EVEN for your stay. Now, hopefully things will go better in Denver. I'll make sure to get there early. Anyone else there, look for the blue/green hair in the front row and come say hi. And QoFy...love your reactions!
