I heard that this happened a lot so they gave Avi a separate speaker set up so he didn't blow everyone's speakers. You hear him tourtureing his speaker in Ah Ha Singapore at the star vista

Another one of their stellar mashups. This time mashing up a cover, Hit the road Jack with an original, Hey Mama. Pretty clever and seamless as all their mashups tend to be. Something they mastered as such a young new group on the sing Off showing their arranging skills were far above their competition. Most groups would take two or three songs and just alternate singing each song or parts of each song. Ptx would intermix all the songs the whole time so you couldn’t really tell one song from the other and it sounded like one whole song. The judges praised them for their ability to make the mashup so seamless. A perfect example of this is La La Latch. Have you done that one? If not you should check it out

Great reaction, as always. Many PTX fans are singers or musicians. We love what they do because we understand how hard it is. (Like you, I was once in a barbershop chorus!) They rock every genre ! This was recorded by Ray Charles, and a huge hit. With the PTX twist on this CLASSIC, makes it feel NEW ! They released this in 2014. Awesome voices and a powerful beat. Love it ! Thank you for choosing this ! :)

@@QofyReacts always enjoy your smile and enthusiasm! I had the same reaction to Avi breaking the sound system. How did he do it on key? And I'm a proud grandma, and I spoil all of them. We even have two great grandchildren now. I definitely will be looking for one of those lamps for her. She is the only one that lives nearby. My family is spread out across the USA. I am so glad a few are close especially during these times when travel is limited. Thank God for technology to keep us in touch.

As much as I enjoyed this version (it's PTX so, of course) and I understand it's a mashup so something's gotta give but I miss the raspy "Don't care if you do coz it's understood......." from the Raelettes (and one in particular whose name I've forgotten) in the Ray Charles version. It was my favourite part when I heard this as a kid and those things stick with you. It was Ray Charles who made me realise for the first time that black music was different than the other stuff on the radio in the UK and prepared me for the knockout when I saw Sonny Boy Williamson on TV when I was 13 and adopted Blues and later, Jazz, as my religion from that moment forward. Just a white boy lost in the blues. Nobody put Alexis in the Korner. I know. You have to be as old as I am for any of that last part to make sense.

Look at it this way-- where else but among Pentatonix fans would you find the people cheering and and approving of ruining the show?
