I hope you watched the first time he performed this on TV, it was his elimination solo for Phantom Singers 2. He talked about having to go into his falsetto instead of head voice for the high notes once because he was sick, but I don't know if it was for this particular performance or not.

Kang HyungHo was working as a research chemist in Lotte BP Chemical ; quite good company providing high salary when he auditioned at Phantom Singer 2. He was the only office worker who majored in (chemical) engineering in whole participants. But just he used to sing as a vocalist in an amateur rock band (the band name was Pitta but it became Pittaband afterwards) in his leisure time. He wanted to sing from his juvenil days but his parents didn't agree him to go to art school. So his music life started since he joined the rock band in the university. Even after graduation he continued the band and won the Grand-Prix in the labourers' band contest in Busan. His sensational audition song- the Phantom of the Opera was his killer repertoire from that contest. He used to cover Muse so developed his falsetto that good. (He has very talented voice tho, his singing technique is great,too.) He said he thought he could quit from the music regretlessly with criticism he would get. But BAAMM! Thanks God he failed to quit from music! He quit from the research chemist job instead. lol He quit his research chemist job 1 year after the debut as Forestella. He would have worries and considering about career and steady salary, stable life but finally chose the life of professional musician. As a fan of him and of Forestella I truly appreciate for his decision from heart.

@Eric-hr5cg Now his career as professional musician is longer than research chemist career. He resigned his chemist job on 2018.12.20! (Officially, on 12. 31) In Korea there are so many talented singers and a professional musician as a job never guarantees stable income. Despite Kang HyungHo saw a lot of musicians around him struggled for the money for living, he chose his way. I think all of the members in Forestella deserve the fame and fortune

When the first time I listened to Kang Hyungho's Phantom Opera, I thought "Is there a switch that changes the phantom voice and Christine's voice? he is really amazing." Thank you for your great reaction to Kang HyungHo of Forestella. He uses Pitta as solo artist nickname, too. He sang musical version of this song in his first appearance on air in the Phantom Singer 2 audition. His audition clip got millions of views very quickly at that time in Navercast (kind of Korean KZbin service, available only in Korea). But it is still blocked abroad even after being uploaded on KZbin. It's a big pity cannot show it to global fans. Kyeong Lee or something would be shown to you bcs it was written 경.이.롭.다. (A.M.A.Z.I.N.G in Korean) and mistranslated. LOL His family name is 강 Kang (it actually sounds like Gahng but we write it as Kang to avoid sounding like Gang.) and his name is 형호 HyungHo. I know Korean names have pronunciation hard to call correctly for westerners. Actually he has been called as 크리 Chri (from Christine; the female character from the Phantom of the Opera) by his fans ever since he sang this song in his first appearance. (Sometimes he calls himself as Chri! LOL) I think it's also OK to call him as Pitta.

Actually he has reacted to some of them! Pls search first and request what you want..don't forget to check if it is available for abroad. JTBC blocked a lot of videos from Phantom Singer All Stars. They even blocked Je suis malade by Forestella once they had released abroad.. I cannot understand why JTBC is being grumpy to reactioners & Phantom Singers tho.
