Thanks again for the history of the rise of QPR from 3rd to 1st division great to know how the club rose to prominence. Why do you think QPR couldn't live with the first division status in their first season? Did it come as a shock that the standard of play was beyond QPR's ability to cope in the first division hence ending bottom of the pack? It's one thing to arrive there it's another to successfully compete. Perhaps the euphoria of arriving there clouded what it was going to take to stay there successfully. I may have to wait for the next in the series for you to answer the questions 😀 posed.
